This place is a GEM. The Jerk Chicken and Curry Chicken was great but the goat curry was my favorite. I love how they serve a generous amount of vegetables and the level of spice was excellent. I also love how they have Small / Medium / Large Serving size. Will definitely come back to try the other dishes. The owner was so nice and friendly.

I ordered Rice and peas with stew chicken and plantains. First off the service was good, person was nice and friendly. I will say that the chicken and rice and peas definitely lacked flavor because I have tried better restaurants and home cooked versions. Also, all my chicken was mainly bone. That is very unfortunate as I was looking to get full. This place would definitely be for people who don’t like seasoned food or salt. I thought I would be receiving a side of plantain and I only got one plantain. I wanted to like this place but I will not be returning. I think that it should be emphasized on the menu that the food is lightly seasoned to avoid any future disappointments. Also to ensure that bone isn’t being served to customers.

While searching for something different for dinner, came across D’Bay and realized that Jerk Chicken would really hit the spot. The reviews were good but had some questions about sides etc so I called the restaurant. The gentleman who picked up answered my questions and I really enjoyed talking with him. He told me what he had available (plenty of Jerk Chicken and Jerk Pork, almost out of curry goat, enough for a small serving) and I placed my order with him. I drove over with my daughter, found there were two municipal lots on either end of the block he was on, so parking was easy. Ended up getting a large Jerk Chicken and a large Jerk Pork, both with rice n peas and mixed veg/cabbage and a small curry goat, with rice n peas and mix veg/cabbage. All the dishes also came with plantain. We also got a homemade sorrel juice, a homemade peach mango juice and two muffins (banana and carrot). The food was waiting there for us and the owner (the guy I spoke to on the phone) provided great customer service with a smile. I paid with cash ($58 for everything) and told him we would see him soon. The food was really tasty, with the large orders having enough for two meals. The banana muffin was good but the carrot muffin was really amazing. Overall a very good experience and we will definitely be back there again for more very tasty food.

My husband and I came to the area to go somewhere else, but we saw this Jamaican restaurant. We stopped in and met the owner who is a very nice guy. The food, the service and the atmosphere is very good. I came here hungry, this is my plate now and I’m stuffed lol . The serving size is too big to eat in one shot. He also gave us a complimentary soup at the end! We will definitely be visiting again.

First, I must say that that customer service is superb. The owner is very friendly and takes the time to speak with you and clearly understand your dietary needs. The Sorrel and Ginger Beer were so refreshingly good. Excellent drinks for this changing weather. It was nice to see vegan options on the menu. I ordered the Vegetarian Soy Chili Bolognese. Let’s just say thankfully I took a picture before and not after. Yes, I finished it all. I will be back to try the curry chickpeas and look forward to new vegan options.

A small unassuming place. Don’t let the inside fool you. Delicious food. I love their oxtail. The hidden gems? The scones! Like real English scones but not, and definitely not those triangular or muffin-like things that Americans call “scones.” Hubster loves the Jamaican “buns.” He’ll order three big buns to go. Then freeze 2 while he works on 1 during the work week. Both are amazing with coffee.

Tasty food! The macaroni pie was rich in flavor and the escovitch fish was delicious. The dumplings were tasty as well. I had a pineapple ginger juice and it was refreshing. Great customer service too. All in all a great experience.

This is our go to place for absolutely delicious cuisine. Our catering order consisted of brown stewed chicken, curried chicken, cod fish critters, coconut rice & peas, sweet plantains and steamed mixed vegetables. Everything was plentiful, professionally presented & packaged, and most of all; DELICIOUS!!!! The quality and taste is always consistent with just the right amount of spice. Our guests praised the food throughout the event and came back repeatedly for 2nds & 3rds. The cost is reasonable and the attention to detail, follow up, courtesy and timeliness of delivery (early) and assistance with the set up help to make our event flawless. It’s always a pleasure-

I recently had the pleasure of ordering at D’Bay, and I can’t say enough about how wonderful the food is! I place an order for an event at work, we had the Brown Chicken Stew, Rice and Peas, Cod Fish, and Plantains, and each dish was simply outstanding.
The Brown Chicken Stew was rich and flavorful, the Rice and Peas perfectly seasoned, the Cod Fish was cooked to perfection, and the Plantains were a delightful complement to the meal. It was truly one of the best Caribbean meals I’ve ever had!
I also want to extend my gratitude to Leonard, the owner, who went above and beyond to assist me with a last-minute event for work. His quick response and willingness to help made all the difference. I look forward to continuing to do business with D’Bay Restaurant and can’t wait for my next visit.
