Casual, Brooklyn-based pizzeria chain serving brick-oven pies & calzones, plus wine & beer.

Grimaldi’s Table for one has stolen my heart, and I’m completely enchanted ☝ . Their music has captured my soul, and I’m forever grateful. As someone who appreciates the classics, I find Grimaldi’s ambiance incredibly sweet and welcoming, my own personal haven. What sorcery did they use to win me over? The staff is exceptionally kind, and I had the pleasure of sampling drinks during lunch while my bf was working. We enjoyed pizza together, and I’m relieved to say I wasn’t driving since I don’t own a car. The Brooklyn Rum Punch, with its orange hue, and the Italian Paloma are two drinks that caught my attention.

Based on the lineup outside we thought this place would be great. However, it was fairly underwhelming.
Service: friendly staff, but very slow to take the order and communicate.
Food: the pizza was not bad. The middle of the pizza was very doughy and not enjoyable. The crust itself was crispy and was good. Overall, a mediocre pie. 3/10
Price: not worth the price based on the food and experience. We paid $29 USD for a veggie pizza, our total bill for three 12” pizzas + salad was over $100 USD.
Atmosphere: it was a nice vibe inside – checkered table cloths and old images/awards/newspaper clippings on the wall. The restaurant was large and that takes away from the cozy vibe – no fault to them for this just my opinion.
Add: The spicy hot honey was very good..!

Grimaldi’s Pizzeria was a fantastic spot for our family during our vacation in Scottsdale. We enjoyed a relaxed atmosphere and appreciated the family-friendly vibe, especially with our 5-month-old grandson along. The staff was welcoming and attentive, making sure we all had what we needed, even helping us feel at ease with a little one in tow. The pizza was exceptional – thin, crispy crust with a perfectly balanced mix of fresh toppings. This place is ideal whether you’re with family or just looking for a top-notch pizza in Scottsdale. Highly recommend!

2 months ago we moved back into the valley from Houston. And for 2 months we have tried everybody’s favorite and while the pizza was ok it wasn’t awesome. We can stop trying to find a great thin crust New York style pizza. Grimaldi’s is that place. We ordered The Don Italian sausage, meatballs, and pepperoni and cooked exactly how we like our pie.

I absolutely love this place, as soon as you walk in the smell alone is just satisfying. Salute to all the workers getting marinated in the aromas. Beautiful atmosphere, top notch service and most of all amazing food! Highly recommend if you are looking for good pizza or Italian food! Will definitely be back again! Mia was an awesome server and took care of us! Give her a raise! ♥️

Best New York pizza place in Arizona. From the traditional red sauce to the white pizza to the cauliflower crust, what you would never know was a cauliflower crust. This place is the best anyone that says otherwise doesn’t know what a New York pizza supposed to stay taste like and should just keep eating at Domino’s

It’s probably not worth $32 for a 12-inch pizza. That said the staff is friendly and this is one of the closer pizza places near me.
Compared to Marcos, which is my fave pizza (none close by ), the ingredients were a little skimpy. Secondly. The pizza was a little soggy.

The atmosphere is very nice. The host staff is friendly and inviting. We went on a Saturday evening and service was very slow. It appears this location can seat more than the kitchen can handle.
The food is OK but not great. Flavors are not rich, more subdued. The meatballs especially are underwhelming and look as if the come from a microwavable store bought bag.
Would not recommend.

Ordered takeout. “Christmas” pizza with onions and green peppers. Charged extra for the toppings which are nonexistent (I counted 2-3 small pieces of each-look at the pic). I called and spoke with the manager who said he would send me a gift card in the mail. I gave him my all my info
mailing address etc. I’m still waiting -over a month now. We’ve not been impressed when we have dined in either. DC ranch location is closer but I’d rather go to the Scottsdale quarter any day.

Went to the open free concert on Friday evening. Unfortunately I was famished and Grimaldi Pizzeria was right there so I thought I’d try a pizza.
Aside from being busy and this slowed down the service tremendously, the atmosphere in my opinion needs refreshing.
Ordered the white garlic pizza and added mushrooms, artichoke, olives and sun dried tomatoes.
When it finally arrived it really didn’t look too appealing. Being from Italy I am a bit jaded and always look for as close to authentic as possible.
This was not it.
I ate out of hunger not with a craving.
Sad. Perhaps another time. Or not.
If you are looking for an authentic Italian pizza, I would not recommend a chain as this.
Try some of the more well known true Italian pizzerias in town.
