We opened our first bakery in the South End in 2000 with one goal: to make the world a sweeter place through warm smiles, gooey sticky buns, and irresistible BLTs. Every day we pinch ourselves that we get to do what we love – share awesome food and welcoming hospitality – with everyone who walks through our doors and visits us here. Led by James Beard Award-winning pastry chef + co-owner Joanne Chang, Flour Bakery now has nine locations in Boston + Cambridge. Service is fast and pleasant. Lots of seating for the small place. I ordered coffee and grabbed yogurt from the display. Tasted good and fresh. Very close to Prudential center.

Had a few breakfasts here that included coffee, pastries or breakfast sandwiches. The food is generally decent. Coffee is also good. Service is fast. Rather pricey for the items though.

Solid bakery with lots of options for baked goods. It was hard to choose. Includes sandwiches and salads. Really enjoyed the sticky bun the most. The pimento cheese was good, but didn’t come with enough bread and ended up wasting some of the cheese. This is a good place for a quick bite to eat.

Heard a lot about their sticky buns and had to try it. Also ordered a cinnamon roll.
The sticky buns is so very good. So buttery. This pastry is sweet and with pecans to give that pastry a different texture. So good!
We also had the cinnamon roll. Slathered in a sugary icing, this pastry went so well with a cup of coffee.
The place is small and quaint. The restaurant provides the perfect place to simple get away from the city, relax with a great cup of coffee and a freshly made pastry.

I love this little bakery. The Parmesan chive scone was delicious. Coffee is good. Service is fast and polite, and attentive. The coconut cake looks deliciously decadent… so I’ll just let my eyes and mind feast on it.

I can’t come to Boston without visiting flour. In fact, I plan at least one breakfast meeting there to have amazing service, my standard gluten free poppyseed loaf, and an almond milk latte. I love that the same people are working there for 2+ years, which means they are valued employees.

Great quality food. Decent prices for a major city and major college/tourist town. Does take time for your order to be ready. Very convenient to Copley, Prudential, Science Plaza areas. Across the street from Hilton and Sheraton hotels on Dalton Street. Recommend ordering ahead of time, or if the website says not available, go inside and order on the wall mounted tablets, which will be quicker than standing in line, which can be long.
