Up until today I would’ve told you that Tony’s Pizza was the best in Washington County MD…..they now have true competition. Il Forno’s pizza in collaboration with Vanish Brewery is now tied for the best pizza in WashCo. If I could combine Tony’s Pizza Margherita sauce with Il Forno’s dough and everything else you would have the best pizza on the East Coast. The food alone is worth the trip.
The beer was very good and you have a nice selection of different styles. The staff was very nice and attentive. The kids, and adults, have an arcade to keep you busy. I I love the big open space too. Go visit now!

We stopped by Il Forno Xpress for a holiday friends meetup right before Christmas and had such a great experience. The veggie pizza was delicious, and the seasonal cocktails were the perfect festive touch. Shelby was our waitress and she was AWESOME—funny, attentive, and full of great recommendations. She truly made the afternoon for us. We loved her and will definitely be back!

We had such a wonderful experience thanks to our server, Judy! She was attentive without being overbearing, friendly, and made us feel truly welcome from the moment we sat down. Judy gave great recommendations, checked on us at just the right times, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. If you get takeout from here, verify your order before leaving. This afternoon we ordered takeout wings. One order was correct, but the second, and order for 24 buffalo wings, only had 16 in the box (but was charged for the full 24). The in restaurant service is great. You’re on you own for takeout orders, though. Won’t be making the same mistake twice.

Outstanding. Depending on how busy things are, Judy will greet you at the door, asking if you are carry-out or dining-in. She is friendly, efficient and always there. The pizza is great and so are the calzones. Atmosphere is welcoming and makes you want to linger. Will be back often. Judy is outstanding!!!!

Pizza was meh. We tried the pizza ala fiorentina & the works. It was edible, it just wasn’t very good and certainly not worth the money. Bland, seemed to be missing something. Super disappointed as we’d heard good things and was excited to have a new spot in the area. On a brighter note we did enjoy the sour beer that we tried while waiting for our order. May stop by again for a beer, just not for food.

GREAT space and food. BAD beer. I hope the brewers see this and know that 3 of the beers I tried were diacetyl bombs or some type of infection going on. Beach Boys IPA tasted like butter. Couldn’t drink really anything from the taps so I hope those are being cleaned as well.

We tried this Bianco and the il forno Supreme they were fantastic, tasteful, with great flavor, the staff were very welcoming and there was plenty of seating available, lots of parking space as well, make sure to check up on their menu, as there are lots of food options to choose from, not just pizza!
