Great local pub. Good interior with some outdoor seating. Food was delicious. Loved the bread on the chicken sandwiches. Had sweet potato fries that were delicious. My wife had their bacon jam burger with tater tots that was also very good. Christina did an amazing job!!

My Husband and I, went downtown to try the pub for lunch. We ordered the Philly Cheesesteak and the brisket sandwich with fries in lieu of a Ribeye Steak since it’s only offered on the dinner menu. We also ordered an appetizer basket of potato keg bites that were a amazing.
We decided to make a trip the following week to try the Ribeye that the Manager personally cuts himself. Since our lunch seemed to be so great and I heard a lot about this manager personally cutting the steaks himself, we decide to give it a try. Honestly, the steak wasn’t worth the hype and definitely not the price! The steak had too much fat on it and no real flavor. Great place for lunch but not worth the price for dinner. I’d say stick to the lunch an appetizer menu and you’ll be satisfied.

Darlington did not disappoint! The Pub on the Square is a great little place right in the heart of it all! Just a 5 minute drive from the racetrack, this place has it all – great food, cold beer, and wonderful service! We loved it here and will definitely return. Thank you for a perfect time.

Overall, Hot fresh food. Friendly service and nothing disappointed. I had the Philly with fries, my friend had the pub club. Both great choices. We had some cheese curds and they were flavourful.

Just popped into the Pub traveling through town. BEST DECISION EVER!! We got the cheese steak: AMAZING! Got a club: ALSO AMAZING! We also got the onion rings which were good but the sandwiches are what won heart and soul. We’ll be back on our next journey! Thank you!!

First time visiting wasn’t bad at all to start out. Many great menu options. Food wasn’t bad either I had an appetizer of Buffalo Chicken Dip it was very cheesy and good I just wished it had more chicken. I ordered the hamburger steak and it was perfect alongside broccoli with cheese and mashed potatoes. The hamburger steak was cooked perfectly and tender and the onions and peppers were very fresh. Broccoli portion was amazing The only downside of the restaurant which disappointed me was that they cooked the hamburger steak in the same place they cooked my buddy bacon. I’m not a pork guy and my head been hurting since I started eating.

Been there a goof few times now and it is always amazing the staff and the owner are wonderful polite and very accommodating. Their steaks are awesome flavorful and juicy sides are delicious and their deserts like the strawberry cheesecake(personal favorite) is hands down TO DIE FOR. God I can taste even now. I go there with my dad and my 7 year old son. We are always greeted with warmth and courtesy; always made to feel welcome and comfortable.

Yesterday I enjoyed a delicious lunch at The Pub on the Square. I dined in and experienced the nicest wait service and a clean restaurant. I selected the burnt ends brisket sandwich with the seasoned waffle fries. The brisket was so tender and well seasoned. The owner cooks it himself. It was absolutely delicious. I had cheesecake with Carmel sauce for dessert. I’ll be back to this restaurant. I highly recommend!
