Heard about this place out so we drove from Milwuakee to try their smash burgers. Very good. Never had smash burgers like this before. Very crispy edges yet so moist. I had just the region sauce but they normally come with relish and onions. Hole in the wall place produces a great product.

Super gem smash burger right here!!You can tell everything is home made and fresh nothing frozen…So so delicious! Got a double cheese burger HUGE, and when it came out it was so hot and fresh steaming off the flat top wow…l knew it’d be delicious just seeing the carmelized patty hanging out from the bun juices dripping down the burger patty mmmmmmm straight up mouth watering man…Their sauce has just the right amount of sweet and tang to compliment the relish! The onion rings were fresh cut and batterd freaking phenomenal! 100% recommend!

I had an absolutely fantastic experience when I stopped by for my lunch break. I was just going to grab my burger and leave, but I was so impressed by the atmosphere that I decided to stay and eat in the restaurant. The burger and fries were incredibly well-seasoned, and their house-made sauce definitely added to the flavor. I’ll definitely be stopping by again if I’m ever in the area.

Like many, I’m on the hunt for the best smash burger. I appreciate they are a independent shop with a nice retro vibe. My comments here about the food can be summarized as “mixed”. I got the double regionette with grilled onion added on, a small fries and a diet cola. The fries were very good. The burgers were more lacey than anywhere else I’ve been. The grilled onion excellent, although I’d wanted both raw and grilled onions, but only received with grilled. The American cheese melted and exactly the right amount. The bun had good texture and integrity. HOWEVER, the burgers were way too salty, the overall taste with the special sauce plus the pickle relish was just not exceptional. I would definitely have much preferred pickle slices instead of relish. When I dipped the burger into ketchup, it was a bit better. If I lived closer, I probably would come back, but not make a special trip here. I prefer Red Hot Ranch (ask +pickles) as well as Hamburger America in NYC. Still looking for the ultimate smashburger.

Addressing all the bad reviews on the burger, the burger is cooked on a flat top so it is greasy and well done. It could be seasoned a little more but overall it tasted great. The onion rings were good too! Not as slimy as most.

Best smash burgers in the city. Their fried pickles, fries, and onion rings are equally delicious.
Also if you have a big appetite, a double burger and a side is plenty. The skirting of meat pops out so far from the bun so it’s already like you’re eating a triple patty burger.
