We came all the way from Kalamazoo just to come here and try the food. Honestly, it is worth the trip! We tried a few menus : cuban sandwich, pork chop with puerto rican rice, plantains, yuca fries, and some empanadas. Everything is so good! Will definitely return here

The Shrimp Mofóngo was looking good and tasted pretty decent. The Alcapurria was not looking right. I tasted a bit burnt. It’s funny cause I asked about it before ordering it, and was told that it’s freshly made to order. Now you look at the picture and tell me if that looks freshly made to order. Also, it looks and taste it like they used turkey meat instead of beef in it.

This spot is a *must-eat*. Every dish seriously gooood. I’m all about mixing and matching, so we got a bunch of dishes and shared (dipping everything in their sauces lol). The Jibarito sandwich? Absolute game-changer. That aioli on it? It deserves its own award.

The tostones are always a crowd-pleaser. The empanadas and rice are total comfort food vibes. Everything was fresh, hot, and made with love. Their team is really welcoming and nice too! The vibes are lowkey in the restaurant, very casual.

My previous job catered from here for team lunches and they did an awesome job with that, too.

Had dinner here last night with my wife.

A little off putting when we walked in as neither of us had been there before and weren’t sure what to do. Staff just kind of looked at us when we walked in. After we stood there for a minute we asked at the counter and the woman back there quickly directed us to a table and got us drinks and menus. Service was great from then on through the duration of the visit. The place looked and smelled very clean which is always a good sign!

For appetizers we ordered a chicken, jalapeno and cheese empanada, a beef empanada, and a beef, jalapeno and cheese empanada. All 3 of them were delicious. My wife ordered the shrimp, steak and chicken Mofongo. I ordered the Cuban sandwich. Our appetizers came out quickly and we’re hot, fresh and very tasty. Our meals came out shortly after and we’re also hot, fresh and tasty. Over all the meal and service was fantastic. We will be back for more!

IF YOU HAVE KIDS PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE. Not even 20 minutes ago we went in with ours kids planning on eating there . When the lady came to take our order she demanded me to move my baby girl who was sitting in her car seat next to my chair . We still ordered . 20 minutes after waiting for the food my kids decided to get up to go to the bathroom and to grab a book , the same rude lady who I guess is the owner came touched my kids shoulders telling my kids to stay seated and to not move from their seats. This is insane and crime touching my kids without my consent, if they do not like kids they should put a sign on the door saying “KIDS ARE NOT ALLOWED “ . Terrible customer service. I will not be coming here ever again . The guy who normally is there gives Great customer service but this lady is terrible .
