Let me start by saying, JT is awesome! He was the most hospitable & attentive bartender that my girl & I had serve us in Virginia Beach during our vacation!
Cocktails were awesome & the vibe at Seaside is so much friendlier than some other bars in the area.

I was not expecting this hole in the wall looking bar to have probably the best food I’ve ever had in Virginia Beach, but it did. Good prices, high quality food, sizeable portions, and friendly staff. Good music and happy clientele the week after labor day when plenty of other places were closing early. You’ll miss out if you don’t make a stop here.

The seafood at this restaurant is absolutely perfect! The service is fast, and food is cooked to perfection and seasoned nicely. The potatoes were nicely seasoned, and the broccoli had just the right crunch. The seafood boil was great and lots of seafood! We are so happy that we ran into this restaurant.

My husband and I ate here while on a weekend getaway in October. We wanted a close place to have some raw oysters.
The seaside raw bar was across the street from our hotel and the good reviews indicated we should try it and boy we certainly did enjoy it.
My husband had a full dozen of their raw oysters while I had a half a dozen. They were very good. Fresh, briny and delicious!
My husband had the steamed shrimp platter with a pound of shrimp, drawn butter and cocktail sauce came with his meal along with red skin potatoes, spicy sausage and half an ear of corn.
I had the 1/2 and 1/2 platter which was 1/2 pound of steamed shrimp and a 1/2 pound of crab legs. With the above accompaniments. It was so very Good! We really enjoyed our meals and will return again for sure.

This spot is a must visit if you hit up Virginia Beach! The food is great! The service is great! I want to say thank you to JT for making my family and I feel welcome and taking care of us. Will definitely visit again and highly recommended!

I don’t know what to say besides “come here!” Absolutely amazing service, hospitality and most importantly, food!! Holy cow. Never have I been in a dive bar that not only stores the labeled and dated food right in front of you, but preps and cooks it as well!?? My fiancee has a gluten allergy and when we initially asked about the gluten, the staff was not too sure. After a very friendly and brief conversation, we found out most of their dishes are gluten free!!! Heck yes!! Two dozen oysters, a 50/50 boil, crab dip and several drinks later, we were having drinks with the,then off duty, chef and having and amazing time eating and drinking and making new friends all around. Such a divey experience and the prices for the food are amazing. Do not hesitate to come here. Don’t let the cover fool you. Just coke hungry and thirsty.

We went there tonight after the Haunted Mansion with our son. We had the Oysters Rockefeller and it was so good we ordered another dozen. Cole even ate them and thought they were great. The bartender gave us great service and my wife has a new friend. We will definitely be going back to check out the Bands. I used to hang out there in the late 80s and early 90s and it brought back a lot of memories good and bad it was great.

Don’t let the front or the “bar” interior fool you, this is fantastic seafood at a great price. We had the boiler, kids grilled cheese, and shrimp poboy. All were among the best we have had, and we are VERY picky.

Awesome place to stop and get some drinks! Great deals on seafood and the Crab Dip is out of this world! (Coming from a Maryland Guy) Drinks are great and they have plenty of beer on tap. (They let you sample if you’re not familiar with the choices). Would highly recommend if you want affordable drinks and awesome food.
