JJ and his team are incredibly kind, and the food is always amazing. We come in pretty often, and they remember our drink orders, which truly makes us feel special. We really appreciate the quality and cleanliness, along with the great prices for sushi.

After 4 attempts to get some Wasabi and ginger. They bring us 1 cellophane packet with 1/2 teasp of wasabi inside. The trick is you cannot open them. In the meantime you are starving. There is nothing on the conveyor belt you want. We put our order in and wait. Still no drinks. Again, requested jasmine tea. 15 mins later it arrived in a 20ozs to go coffee cup. Our very small shrimp tempura arrived. 2 to be exact. Not the standard 4 prawns at other restaurants. Disappointing outing. Do not recommend. Unorganized waitresses have no idea what to do, or how to provide service. Stand around ignoring us. There were twelve of us prepared to eat, prior to going to movie.

I personally like this restaurant the best in the Portland area. I’ve been a regular customer of theirs for years and still go there often.

The price is reasonable and the taste is very good. There are many sushi restaurants in this area, but when considering the price-performance ratio, I think this restaurant is the best.

Among many restaurants, there are many restaurants that boast of being the best in sushi and charge a lot of money for the meal, but basically, the taste of sashimi comes from the fish, and people cannot artificially produce the taste.

And I can say with certainty that there are only 3~4 companies that supply sashimi in this area, so the fish used in high-end restaurants and the sashimi from the neighborhood are the same fish in the end, and in most cases, the quality of sashimi is almost the same.

If I wanted to eat the best sushi that no one has ever eaten, I would rather save up money and go to Japan and find the real best restaurant.

The quality of sushi restaurants in this area is not that different… but we better know that the bill for the meal can vary greatly.

If you can eat the same quality sashimi at a reasonable price, I would recommend this restaurant. Well-trained sushi chefs can make the menu you want right away, and in most cases, you can eat the food right on the track.

The sushi on the track is freshly made, so you might not need to, but if you still don’t like it, you can ask the chef to make it again…

Above all, I recommend this restaurant’s udon on cold days like these. I’ve been to many different restaurants and eaten udon, but when it comes to udon, I personally like this restaurant’s udon the best.

I was really disappointed with my experience at this sushi restaurant. The food itself was average at best, but what truly ruined the visit was the service. The owner was rude and dismissive, and made us feel like our presence was an inconvenience rather than valued customers.

We had to wait a long time for assistance, and when we did ask questions or needed help, the owner was not attentive or friendly. Customer service is just as important as the food, and unfortunately this place fell short in a big way. I won’t be returning and would not recommend it based on this experience.

edit:

Initially I gave this place a 1 star review, but have changed it to 3 stars since coming back. This time, the food was better and being made fresh. Most of the rolls are full of imitation crab, which is fine, just makes it feel lacking in variety. The food was decent, although seemed that some things lacked flavor. I will check back in again sometime to see if any additional improvements are made.

This is a great sushi spot!! I’ve usually gotten take out and not eaten at the belt. But the prices are hard to beat for the taste! Tons of delicious varieties available to try instead of getting full rolls. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a bang on a budget!

This is a good place with decent prices on the sushi track items. They have green plates at $2.75 and everything else at $3.25, not bad. You can request for items from the menu you don’t see on the track and they are quick to make it.

At busy times the booths, of which there are only four of them, can be used for groups of three or more.

Great selection of sushi. There poke tuna was in a light sauce almost like a oil vinaigrette. Fresh and filling. I enjoyed their pepper tuna and the rocky roll. As well as the spicy tuna roll..

Great Sushi, good sushi is not cheap and the Google maps for 10 – 20 is not accurate this is 20 – 30 a meal. If you want crappy cheap sushi go somewhere else. Love the decor.

The only sushi restaurant that has given me the ick. Half the plates had no cover so they’re just exposed to the air, leaving the fish and avocado discolored and smelly.
The seaweed is inedible because of how soggy it is. Lastly the staff don’t even want to talk to you. They have an attitude about everything and then avoid you the entire time so you can’t order anything.
