We are visiting from out of state and chose Table 22 based on social media recommendations — and let me just say, it absolutely lived up to the hype.
We stopped by for lunch on Valentine’s Day without a reservation, not realizing they were hosting a Valentine’s event that required one. Instead of turning us away, the staff graciously accommodated us by offering seats at the bar.
At first, I’ll admit I was hesitant because I really wanted a table but BABY… sitting at the bar turned out to be a whole vibe!
The bartenders were AMAZING. So sweet, so attentive, and so personable. We ended up talking like besties, and they made sure my husband was taken care of too. The service was top-tier from start to finish.
The drinks? On point. Beautiful presentation and they tasted just as good as they looked.The food? Sooooo good. 10/10 across the board.
From the atmosphere to the hospitality to the quality of food and drinks everything was perfect.
Highly recommend Table 22, and we will absolutely be returning anytime we visit Tampa.

We came to Table 22 after seeing a lot of buzz on Instagram, but the experience didn’t quite live up to the hype.
They had music playing, but the overall vibe felt a bit meh. We were told most tables were reserved, yet during the 30 minutes we were there, none of those reservations showed up, and the seating could’ve been used more efficiently.
On the positive side, the food came out quickly. The egg rolls were good, and the Table 22 drink was tasty. However, the waffles were overly sweet with too much cinnamon, the grits had already settled and were cold, and the shrimp could’ve benefited from a few more minutes of cooking.
Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience, but it didn’t match the expectations set online. We’ll probably skip a return visit.

This place is a whole experience! The soul food was absolutely amazing—seasoned to perfection, fresh, and made with love. Every dish hit the spot and the portions were more than satisfying. The drinks were just as good; strong, smooth, and perfectly crafted. Add in the great music and the energy of people actually getting up to dance, and it felt more like a celebration than just a meal. The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff was on point, and the vibes were unmatched! If you’re looking for authentic soul food, great cocktails, and a fun day/night out while supporting a family owned business, don’t think twice—this is the spot!

Best place ever!!!! Food was wonderful. Staff was wonderful. Dj was a vibe. We sang at the table like the movie “My Best Friends Wedding” Black Family owned. I have traveled many places this was the best vibe ever. If you come to Tampa and don’t stop in this restaurant you are missing out. We are from Chicago it seems like this is the place for locals to come celebrate. Don’t miss out.

Reservation was quickly changed when we were stuck in traffic. They texted and alerted us without issue! Arrived greeted by host with a smile and positive energy! Seated immediately! Food was amazing I ordered the oxtail and grits and side of Mac and cheese and it was great….live DJ and drinks were good as well!

Social media has lied to me about this place. The margarita flights were really good. This was our third stop of the day so it was light foods the collard greens are sweet and spicy that should be on the menu because, what sweet spicy greens. I really enjoy the experience at Table 22. We went on a Sunday and had brunch. DJ Red was the DJ and of course he turned up. Our server was absolutely the best. Ishmael took care of us and was very attentive to our table.

Loved the atmosphere, the music and the food. From the moment we stepped in there was a lot to take in. The hostess was very professional and we were seated immediately. Our waitress, Sudy, was very pleasant and patient. After placing our orders, the food was being served about 15-20 minutes later. There was silence at the table, which is a good indication that the food was good. I started eating the crumbs from my chicken that had fallen on the plate. The floor manager checked to make sure everything was okay. Which it was, and reminded us that if we needed anything just wave. Fortunately our waitress checked on us often. We’ll definitely be returning.

Good food and good vibes. They had a live DJ playing good music setting the energy. Food was so good, flavorful, fresh and came out pretty quickly. The bartender did his thing the drinks were good and strong, we had the flight. It was my 1st visit but definitely not my last.

The food was not presentable. Fries with the lobster bites were not fried but seemed as if they were placed in the microwave. The oxtail special was not special at all. The meat was tough and there was more bones than meat. The place itself was very welcoming, beautiful atmosphere with enjoyable music. Mimosa flight was amazing. Service was a bit slow, for a Sunday. It would have been a 10/10 if the food was better.
