First time late nite eats… he was out of what we originally wanted to order but this is what we got the polish sausage, pork chops with shrimp and okra and a 20pc chicken ½ lemon pepper and ½ jerk. The lemon pepper chicken needed more seasoning. The jerk was a wet seasoning with a sweet undertone, not what I am use to. The pork chops and shrimp were battered well, a tad bit salty for me but it wasn’t my meal and before I could ask for another piece it was devoured. I don’t eat okra so I didnt know to ask for it fried hard as I ordered it only because they were out of the tater tots or hash browns. The mister didn’t care for the okra. The polish sausage came with hamburger, onions, mustard and bbq sauce.

Everybody on here lying this man sell spoiled food and my mom had a bbq sandwich with mold covered on the bread and it’s definitely not good.then when we told him he said oh let me get u more bread like why would we want anything else, prices too high and he don’t care

This place was awful ! We only came here because it was open late but we should’ve left & went somewhere else! Waited over an Hour for our food and it wasn’t even hot or crispy, the fish was soggy, the wings didn’t have any flavor and wasn’t even covered in the sauce, it’s very dirty in there! The only thing decent was the okra! Idk if it was a bad night it was only one man working in there, but I definitely do not recommend and will not return !!

Been wanting to try KJ’s restaurant for a while now.. I finally got my food and It was delicious well worth the wait.. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and Huge Homemade Onion rings ..The sandwich was pretty big also. With a side of ranch coke to drink and …Let me tell you they got cheesecake Oh Yeah its Yummy!!! They have a good variety of foods on the menu so I’m sure it’s all wonderful..

Top Shelf (((((Insider))))) !!!!!!!! KJ never disappoints. If it’s not right then he will get it right!. Been going to see him for a few years now I think. KJ and Travis are really the only 2 Black Own Food Businesses that keep me coming back. It’s not just about the food it’s also about the spirit of the cooks and customer service!!!! I’m tryna diet but I’m craving that shrimp and okra right now oh and catfish and ribs and baked beans!!!!!! I will truly order it all. KJ gone head and do a menu item and call it A Little Bit for this and that for $25 or $30 shrimp, chicken and fish or shrimp, chicken and a few bones I come in there being greedy sometimes. It be hard to choose that why I take forever .

We placed an order through Doordash to KJ’s for a burger and two sides, and 2 8pc shrimp plates with two sides. Two of the three plates were missing fries, and all the other sides were wrong. We were supposed to get cole slaw and baked beans on one plate, and fries and a side salad on another plate. The sides on both of those plates were replaced with potato salad and okra instead. The burger plate was ordered with 2 sides of fries, but didn’t receive any, so the burger plate had no sides. We received the side salad, which consisted of soggy lettuce, 2 pitiful slices of tomato, and a few croutons, and all of the sauces we received tasted watery. Not sure if this is their normal service, but a very disappointing experience.
