Recently added a full bar in the back with TV’s, pool, games, and soon to be lottery. Food was incredible. We shared the pretzel bites with beer cheese, best cheese we’ve ever tried. My husband had the SW burger with fries, which he demolished in minutes. I loved the Buffalo Chicken Burger, a 10/10. We will be coming back for sports and the wide variety of beers and cocktails!

This was a great find! The space is clean and bright with fun music that isn’t too loud. The staff were all smiles and very accommodating. The food was also good. I had the Black and Blue burger which was delicious, they definitely aren’t joking about the fresh pepper .

Amazing!
So glad we took time out of our trip to travel into Rufus to enjoy this diner. The BLT and clam chowder were great. Everything at the table was delicious, including the fish and chips, the bacon cheeseburger, and the fish burger. We all enjoyed the fries. I’ve never had fries made that way before. To top off our excellent lunch, we had milkshakes. We asked for them to be thick and the shakes were perfection.
Stopped in again for a BLT, fries, and a shake.
Third visit-delicious! Driving east on 84 Google maps has you exit at 104. Don’t do it! Take exit 109.

Crazy Life
We were traveling back to Maryhill campground from a visit at hermiaton aquatic pool and we were wanting to stop into the Bob’s Texas T-bone restraunt in Rufus- BUT there loss because they are not open on Mondays. So we searched for another Diner that’d be open; we found Bulldog Diner. And we are VERY HAPPY WE DID!!! My whole family enjoyed there individual meals. Service was pretty good too. When we drove up, we wondered IF they were even open; one car in parking lot was leaving and a motorbike parked neer the side. Not really anything to complain about unless it was the higher prices_ but what Diner isn’t jacking the prices and/ or nickle_ diming the customers these days.
We arrived back 1 month_2 days later. Once again, there was NOBODY eating there until long after we had arrived. And surprisingly the elderly man and his wife walked in and had the BIGGEST version of a supposid “service animal_dog) i have ever seen. It was like a full sized poodle_ the BIG ones but this one appeared to be mixed with something else_greyhound or something.but they just came walking IN Like it was completely natural to have a DOG accompany people to a restraunt. That didn’t look like an OFFICIALservice animal vest either.
Once again though our food was piping HOT and delicious.
The only other thing that really began to annoy me was our waitress kept coming back to check on us every few minutes; I sincerely am happy they wanna make sure there only customers are comfortable and enjoying our meal( and we tipped her appropriately as well) by once or twice or so. But 4_5 times.. Just gets old.

We had the deli sandwich and the chicken tenders salad. Both were great. Their ranch dressing is wonderful. Very good sized portions. The service was also prompt and very friendly.

Came in with my family today while traveling and our server was so nice, we loved the decor and vibe of the restaurant!! Ordered the blue cheese burger, BLT and Cob salad and loved every single one !!! I absolutely recommend coming here the food is so good and the portions are huge !! I really recommend the lavender lemonade, so yummy.

Phenomenal place. Great service. Awesome people who work here. I ordered Fish Burger… BEST fish sandwich I ever had. Looked better than what you’d see in a picture and tasted even better. Fish and chips were great, too. Love how thin the chips are cut. Chicken was jucy and crispy. People definitely put their whole heart into serving you here.

We’ve ate here before and this place could be a great place if they wanted to be but it’s almost like their trying to get rich over night. The service is great, the employees are smiling and all happy but I feel like their scaming behind your back. I was complaining about something we ordered and she was all happy and said she’d let the chef and the owner know but she wasn’t offering to give us a discount or take the item off of our bill. They have great sandwiches but they want to charge you for every little thing that you order. My son and husband ordered French fries and onion rings. My husband wanted fry sauce and ranch and my son only wanted ranch and he got both and they charged both of them for it. I was afraid to ask for ketchup, didn’t know what they would have charged me. My point is if your going to charge for it add it to the price of the meal. Some people count every penny they have. Also we ordered the appetizer Loaded potato skins and we regretted it when we got them. Most places I’ve been to leave some of the pulp in the skins and then fill it with cheese, bacon and sour cream and it was $12.50. We actually just got the skins, no pulp at all and they were burnt. The worst potato skins I’ve ever had and I got the Philly cheese sandwich which would have been better if they had used stirips of roast beef rather than chopped. I’m sorry but I’m so disappointed cause I had braged to my son about how great you guys were and then this happened. I just feel that you guys are not there for the customer that you’re there for yourselves.

I’ve been coming here since the eclipse shortly after it opened. My first visit I had a chance to chat with the couple that opened this place. They’ve done a hell of a job bootstrapping this place together. The food is excellent, and they’ve done an excellent job remodeling the interior. Hands down the nicest restaurant bathroom you find for 90 miles in any direction. My last visit a few days ago I had the 10 layer burger with onion rings. And again they delivered on the exceptional quality I’ve received in my previous visits. They have also added outlets at the booths which I think is brilliant.

It’s obvious something NEW is brewing here. So I skipped my normal spot to eat and came here. It was a pleasant surprise. I was led past the cute dining area to the newly remodled back bar section. TVs played the sports games, some people were enjoying a game of pool, others the well stocked bar, and others a table to themselves. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger n fries and a black butte porter. Mmm that bacon was thick, and the burger tasty. The bun could be more substantial but wasn’t bad. The thin cut fries were different. Sort of a cross between a chip and a fry. My waitress was attentive and quick. Prices are getting steep these days and here is no different. But with a beer the cost was in the 20s. That’s comparable to other burger joints in the Gorge. I’d say this place is heading in the right direction, and I’ll be back to try them again.
