If you’re ever anywhere near Bitely, Michigan, do yourself a favor and make a stop at Woody’s Bar and Grill the kind of place that reminds you why small-town America still has the biggest heart. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with history on the walls and warmth in the air not just from the rustic charm of the space, but from the people who make this place so special.
Shoutout to Amber and Jane, two of the most attentive, kind, and downright delightful servers you’ll ever meet. You can tell they’re not just here to serve food they’re here to take care of people. It feels like you’re visiting family (the fun ones who always have a cold drink waiting and a great story to share).
The food? Comfort food at its finest made with love, not just out of a kitchen, but out of a tradition. You can taste it in every bite. Whether it’s a burger stacked high, perfectly seasoned fries, or a weekly special made from scratch, it’s clear that whoever’s behind the scenes cooking is doing it from the heart.

Had a great time at Woody’s this past weekend at the Blessing of the Bikes Run. Enjoyed seeing hundreds of bikers and their bikes displaying their personalities. The barbecue ribs and chicken was delicious. The wait to get a meal was not ever an issue. If you have to wait a few minutes more then the meals are well worth it. On of Woody’s the beef patty hamburger on marble rye was very tasty. Wished I purchased one to go. The crowd of bikers coming and going enjoyed the live country bands and games. We went there Friday and Saturday. The outdoor area is well organized for open pit roast of marshmallows and the walk up bar stations give you an added place to socialize with friends. Superb time! Great place to go when in or near Big Rapids if your looking to enjoy a wholesome experience in the woods where it’s a friendly atmosphere for family and friends. .

Best pizza ever!! Loved the fun atmosphere and great service. We happened to stumble upon this place and will be sure to go back for the amazing pizza. For the record, every dish we saw come out of the kitchen, looked amazing!

The music was amazing. Service was absolute dog water. Waited at the bar almost 8 minutes for our first drink. Only good thing was they were strong and reasonably priced.
Also enjoyed the wood stove.

Great ribs and chicken wings! The wings were not done on the smoker like the ribs but they were great for being out in the sticks and they were big ones. I like big ones. Very friendly staff including the cook who obviously loves running food out to the guests and yucking it up a little with them. The cocktails were not weak.
