We were on the way back home when we saw a billboard that said Lakelands Best barbecue so we decided to stop by and check this place out. The customer service was very nice. The lady inside was also very friendly and outgoing. I wasn’t a big fan of the food. A lot of the sides taste like they came out of a can and the brisket and ribs didn’t have that barbecue flavor and tasted a bit old like it was sitting out for a while. It did not taste like it was cooked on a barbecue or smoker at all. what pissed me off The most was the fact that I paid $24 for the brisket and received nothing but fat as you can see in the picture. It was a nice experience thanks to that lady in the front but they definitely gotta work on their cooking.

FRESH! FRESH! FRESH! Tender and juicy pulled pork sandwich with two small sides, DAILY SPECIAL, was a little over $7!! The amazing choice of sauces completely perfected the sandwich! We all know the secret is in the sauce, and I’m here to tell you BubbaQue’s got the SAUCE!! Waitress had all the Southern charm in the world!! A true professional!! I will definitely be back, and back often!!

Today I ordered online, bbq chicken leg quarters and they sent me chicken breast and wings and with no sauce on it. It was just plain chicken with no seasoning and nothing on it. I have no clue how they mess a simple order so much. I am attaching a picture and you can see how bad it was!

You’re not going to BubbQue’s for the atmosphere, you’re going the for the food. Good food. No, not good food…damn good food!
It really had the best smoked meat and poultry I ever ate. The pulled pork was so good, I didn’t want to spoil it with any of the many sauces they offer.
And the wings…best wings I ever ate. Better than any wings I cook up at home, and I can cook up some mighty good wings. But these wings, smokey and crispy on the outside, tender and tasty on the inside. Oh man, I wish I had some more right now!
Although I was not a baked beans person when I walked into BubbaQue’s, I walked out a convert. My wife ordered them as a side and they were packed with flavor. So yummy!
We had so much food we split our order, and still couldn’t finish it all.
As an added bonus, I ordered a beer and they told me they were running a special, buy one beer and get a second free. How can you go wrong? Four bucks for two ice cold brews.
The only thing I did not like about BubbaQue’s, is that it is an hour drive from my house! Bubba, why couldn’t you be closer to my home?

Gotta go here if you want your BBQ done right. OMG the ribs were falling off the bone awesome! No need for sauce being you can taste the rub. I did love trying all their sauces, wow really good! Love the inside vibe and was greeted by Nici with a smile who took care off all my questions and service. Must try location for good BBQ!

The smoked turkey is incredible. The brisket is a staple, a must have in the meat combos. The 8+ BBQ sauces at your table add to the overall smoked BBQ experience. Sauces were excellent. Stopped on a Sunday afternoon, didn’t wait more than 10 minutes. Absolutely will be coming back regularly.

I did an online order and they missed two sides which I was charged 3.99$ a piece. I called for a refund and they stated they could give a refund without me being present, but refused to. They stated that I needed to go back up there for a refund, but if I was able to go back, I would pick up the sides. It is very unethical to keep money from customer for an item which was not provided.

Our first visit to the new digs. There was a pack house so we ate outside. Glad it was nice outside or it could have been brutal. I gauge my BBQ on brisket. I got the dinner plate that consisted of some moist and meaty slices. Very tender and enough smokey flavor. My sides were the coleslaw and collards. Both really good. I would have preferred a bit of ham hock in the collards. My wife got the pulled pork with fries. She really like both and said fries were really crispy. We got a side of fried green tomatoes. A bit small as they were cut in half but tasty nonetheless. They had a variety of sauces to choose from. I had the Rump Roaster as it was their “hottest.” Good but not hot.

Wife comes here often for lunch since it’s close by her work. No wonder she likes to come here it was very delicious!! My first time here and I’d love to come back! I’d recommend them for your BBQ cravings! Nice service and clean establishment as well!! Overall, great place!
