Been going to China Isle for years, though this was my first visit in about a year. The food is still the same–good and consistent. Service was fast with our food coming out quickly, which I appreciated. The only disappointment was that our server wasn’t very friendly, which took away from the experience. I’m willing to give it another try since the food keeps me coming back.

I’ve heard this is a great place to try and been meaning to stop in for awhile now. I was crazing some hot and sour soup, so we decided to get take out. We were impressed with ALL the food we got. It was hot by the time we got it home. Everything was incredibly tasty and hit the spot. I highly recommend stopping in or grabbing some food to take out.

We had not been to this restaurant in several years and were happy with the changes. Adrian and Julian (who look like twins but are cousins) provided excellent service. Adrian came to check on us several times. He had great communication skills and manners. I enjoyed the egg drop soup. Prices are very reasonable. Huge dishes.

Super disappointed in this place.
Got a dinner combo for takeout, got all the way home to open my meal which didn’t have any fried rice, my favorite part. Called in, they said I could come back, but that would be a 25 minute for me and I wasn’t going to do that for their mistake. They said a manager would call me back later in the night to do a refund since they are the only ones who can apparently, which they never did. So I called back. The owner proceeded to berate me that the half of my meal I didn’t get wasn’t worth the $14 refund for the meal. That it only costs $2 for rice so why would they give me a refund for forgetting to give me an entire half of my meal? (The only option to order fried rice on their menu is $10 btw) So I paid for a full meal, got half of it, and then got hung up on for requesting they fix it. Own up to your mistakes.

Chill please to eat. Great service; food came fast and warm. We got double-cooked pork and orange chicken (the orange chicken was the best of the two). It came with fried rice, egg soup, and egg rolls. All appetizers tasted amazing, especially the cheese wontons. I would work on the presentation of the plates, but the taste was excellent.

I’m not sure how this place has 4 stars. My first clue was the sign as you entered the restaurant that says where to call if you have complaints.
The food was not great. The Orange Chicken was okay. The fried rice was undercooked and dry. The Veggie dish I ordered tasted “off.”
I was really thrown off by the guy who dumped a box of snap peas on a table in the dining area and scrolled through his phone while prepping the peas. He did not clean off the table nor was he wearing gloves.
Overall not a great experience.
The only good thing about the whole experience was the waiter. Super friendly and very nice.

Went on Christmas day. The place was packed. Got seated surprisingly fast. We got the General Toe’s Chicken, Orange Peel Chicken and Cashew Chicken. All were really good and good sized portions. Food came out hot with lots of sauce. Service was slightly slow, but is expected when it’s that busy.
*Update* Went during the week around 1. Wasn’t crowded at all. Had General Zaos and Sesame Chicken. Both were great. First time eating the sesame chicken and will definitely add it to my top favorites here. Friendly and fast service. Still one of our favorites.
Update – 12/01/24. @ 2. Sunday. Was very dead. We all got their combo specials. Really good except the fried rice was a bit dry. Was surprised at the lack of service, especially considering we were the only ones there. Still love the place.

We took a chance and we were rewarded! What a wonderful little hole-in-the-wall place. You walk in the door and it screams Chinese food and they deliver. We had one of the dinner combinations for 2 people and had soup, cashew chicken and sweet and sour pork with fried rice. They were all delightful, tender meat, and flavorful dishes. I liked the noodles in my egg flower soup and the sauces on the dishes were wonderful. The service was very humble, helpful, and attentive. Definitely will be going back.

Terrible service. Someone forgot my order, either my server or the kitchen. Waited an additional 20 minutes after my friends got their food before even getting mine. They were done eating by the time my food made it out. I wanted to cancel my order but that went ignored. Then I wasn’t all that impressed with the food I waited so long for. I never received an offer for a discount or even so much as an apology. They didn’t ask if we wanted separate checks and when the bill was split we all paid over $20 each which was outrageous. I won’t be back. I will recommend another place if my friends ever suggest going here again.

The food I ordered stated “spicy garlic chicken” which yes, there was chicken, but a majority of this meal was just sauce lathered veggies. It should be called spicy garlic veggies with a small portion if chicken. The sauce used was delicious, chicken cooked perfectly, and I was able to get a side dish of BBQ pork which was delightful. I just don’t appreciate being mislead about how the meat to veggie ratio was portioned out. I’m not coming back for that reason.
