Great food. My wife and I love this restaurant and it has the best food on main street Bethlehem. Get the trimofongo with sausage and creole sauce. Also can’t come here without the fried app sampler.

Shoutout to Casa del Mofongo
Made dinner prep tonight so easy — great food, smooth pickup, and awesome communication. Big thanks to Mike for being super responsive and easy to work with. Everything was simple, stress-free, and on point. Highly recommend if you’re looking for solid Latin food and great service.

Food and service is exceptional. I had the Casa Bowl with skirt steak and it was so flavorful. Will come here to eat again.

This was our first experience here. It was amazing. Everything we ordered was delicious. We ordered a chicken empanada, the mini mofongos, Bistec with veggies and sweet plantains, and the grilled pork chops in the house creole sauce. It’s a shame we are so far away. We would definitely be ordering our way through the menu. I definitely recommend stopping in here and giving something a try. It was a great experience.

The mofongo is a garlic lover’s dream. The plantain itself has great texture, but the chicharrones were rather gravel-like and tough, so I’d recommend getting a different protein. Mofongo has a tendency to be extremely dry; the one here was moist. It’s a gigantic ball of starch that’s enough for 1.5 meals.

Food here is generally very good, especially for the price. They have $10 lunch specials such as the rice with a quarter of chicken.

The main issues are with service. I suspect customers are not coming back because of it. By American standards, service can come across as unfriendly, uncaring, and unwelcoming. The restaurant also insists that you buy bottled water; they will deny a request for tap water. If water were $1 it’d be more acceptable, but they charge $2 for a bottle. Sure they’ll get a quick two bucks but people will feel ripped off and choose to not return.

Our first visit to La Casa del Mofongo was absolutely incredible! Our server, passionately explained the authentic Dominican dishes and helped us choose the perfect mofongo. The Mofongo con Chicharrón was a flavor explosion, so fresh and expertly seasoned. Paired with the excellent service, and delicious house Morirsoñando juice, it was a perfect meal. We will be telling everyone about this Bethlehem gem!

Authentic food with excellent service. Our server took the time out of her very busy day to explain the menu and offerings and even gave us a few suggestions and recommendations. Food came out blazing hot and fresh. The portion sizes are HUGE and everyone in my party left with a doggy bag. This place is the epitome of comfort food. The only downside is that there aren’t a lot of vegetarian/vegan options. Other than that, I would recommend this place and plan to visit again!

They serve the best Spanish food. They give generous portions of whatever you order. The restaurant is pretty and offers outdoor seating when the weather is nice.

Casa Del Mofongo is a Dominican restaurant that specializes in Latin cuisine. This restaurant can be found on Main St. in Bethlehem.

For those of you who don’t know, mofongo is made with fried green plantains mashed together with chicharrones (crispy pork skin) and fresh garlic.

I ordered chicken empanadas and pork mofongo. The empanadas were some of the best I’ve ever had, and even though I’m not a huge fan of plantains, the mofongo was enjoyable. It was moist and seasoned very well.

Our waitress was friendly and the owner Michael was super welcoming.

Pickup and delivery are both available.
