Overall experience: mixed, but not terrible.

The Bang Bang shrimp had decent flavor, and surprisingly, the cabbage was actually good. That said, the shrimp themselves were overcooked, and for a downtown spot, the portion size felt overpriced for what you get.

The house-made three-day fries were a major letdown. Completely bland. They desperately need a seasoning blend. The sauces didn’t help either—the ketchup needs spice, the BBQ sauce should be removed altogether, and honestly, they should give you more fries for the price. A 10-lb bag of potatoes costs about $3.50, and they’re handing out a man-size handful of fries. That’s hard to justify.

The spicy margarita had good flavor, but the tequila selection is disappointing. Everything appears to be tequila with additives, and there’s no true 100% agave tequila on the menu—which matters if you care about quality.

Now for the positives:
The atmosphere is great, especially if you’re a sports fan. The music was on point, and the service was excellent, particularly for a Saturday night. The kitchen claims to be open until 1 AM—we arrived around 9:15 PM and had our food by 9:30PM, with food hitting the table in about 10 minutes. That speed was impressive, even though the bar was packed.

Final take:
Great vibe and service, fast kitchen, but the food execution and value need work. With better seasoning, improved portions, and higher-quality tequila, this place could be much stronger.

I had a great time at this place! The bang bang shrimp was very good and the salade was basic bud that’s what I ordered. If you like sports, this is definitely the place you want to go. They have every channel! I got to watch my Montreal Canadiens in Columbus on a Thursday night.

9.5/10

Before I get into the food, I have to give a huge shoutout to our waitress, Hailey. She was genuinely one of the top servers from our entire Columbus trip. She stayed on top of everything: refilling drinks, making sure we had enough silverware, straws, menus — all of it. It wasn’t particularly busy, but even so, she hustled and was incredibly attentive. She’s truly very good at her job, and great service like that makes a difference.

Now onto the food!

We started with the Giant Mozzarella Stick and the Parlay Pretzel. Both were excellent. The giant mozzarella stick was exactly what you’d hope for — massive, cheesy, perfectly golden on the outside, and cut in a way that made it easy to share. It’s everything you want when you order something that dramatic. I also really liked their ranch; it tasted more homemade and had a great flavor.

The pretzel was soft, warm, and easy to pull apart. We had it with mustard and a cheese sauce, and I was especially impressed with the cheese. Sometimes cheese sauces develop that film on top or lose their consistency quickly — this one stayed smooth, melty, and warm for a long time. It held up beautifully.

For my entrée, I ordered The BBQ Burger with bacon. It was juicy, flavorful, and delicious. The bread stood out to me in particular — however they prepare it, it complemented the sandwich perfectly and tied everything together. The fries were good as well. Not necessarily my favorite style personally, but for what they were, they were done well.

One thing I really appreciated about Parlay is that they seem confident in what they offer. The menu isn’t overwhelming, but it has a solid variety and they execute their items well. A lot of restaurants have large menus but fall short in certain areas. I can confidently say Parlay is not one of those places. They do what they serve, and they do it well.

The only thing I didn’t love was the pickle. The first bite was fine, but the more I ate, the more the flavor felt a little off to me. Still, if that’s the only complaint from the entire meal, I’d say that’s a win.

I would absolutely go back to Parlay!

We visited Parlay Sports Bar in Columbus for a work function and had an amazing experience. The place was packed and the servers were extremely busy, yet they could not have been friendlier. They kept the energy high, checked in on us often, and made the whole night feel easy and enjoyable in spite of the crowd.

The food was great and came out fresh and full of flavour. Everyone at our table found something they loved. The real show stopper was the vodka and Red Bull Buck. It was the perfect drink for the night and definitely something we would come back for.

Parlay is a fantastic spot for groups, work events, or a casual night out. Great service, great food, and a fun atmosphere. Five stars without hesitation.

My wife and I were wanting a place to watch multiple football Games on a Sunday. We also didn’t want to eat your typical bar food either. This location hit all our wants and needs. I ordered the hummus plate and cheese sticks. The cheese sticks are literally swords of crispy batter and cheese, they are huge lol. The goat cheese and hummus plate was crisp and refreshing. I cannot say enough about the servers for there hospitality and readiness. Each server asked us if we needed help multiple times and we never had to ask for anything, they were on it. Great service, great food, and a fun atmosphere. It was a great Sunday Funday, thank you.

Was very excited to visit, especially as they market themselves as the “home of UFC”. Firstly, the UFC fight was on very minimal TVs. There was also boxing tonight which you’d assume would be put on after UFC finished. I had to ask to put boxing on the TV that previously was playing UFC, and I will say they quickly did that (shoutout Yana, you were an excellent server). Except the TV kept buffering, and they ended up just turning off boxing right before the main event?? And they also were using streameast to stream it unacceptable that a place charging high prices and marketing themself as an upscale sports bar should be using streameast and we have to deal with buffering. Cannot tell me you can’t afford to buy the fights. Better to just stay home at that point.

Also didn’t get the gummy rings that were supposed to come with my drink which stinks but not a huge deal.

And probably MOST importantly, there was a mouse that was hiding out behind the KENO machine and kept running around towards the bar too. Some guys at the bar notified a bartender but it seems they didn’t have a care as nobody came around to check it out or take any action. Cute little mouse, but definitely a red flag for the establishment. Hope they can do better. Ended up going to the draftkings bar to actually watch the fight, and i’d highly recommend for any UFC/Boxing fans. Seems that “Parlay” was more interested in soccer

I came for my 21st birthday and let’s just say I left it very pleased. If you’re looking for a fun time for a celebration, I would definitely recommend parlay. I had Jess, Hannah, and Gracie as my servers while my friends and I sat at the bar. They were incredible. So attentive, kind, and knowledgeable on the menu. I could not give them more kudos! Great job to parlay and their staff. I WILL be back!

Angie is simply a joy to be served by. Great conversationalist and her energy is radiant! They have a great selection of domestic beers, tequila, including the house Rey Supremo, and speciality cocktails. The food menu is extensive and includes something for everyone. I also had the chance to chat to Kiki and she was just as great. Would recommend here to any locals or visitors looking for a good time and friendly service.

We came here for brunch on a Sunday morning in late August while visiting the area. I liked that they had salad on the menu and outdoor seating.

There was no wait to be seated. We did sit outside. There wasn’t as much traffic as Saturday night so it was a nice relaxed meal. There was some kind of car show in town so we did see all those cars drive by.

Our server was personable and attentive. She was with us shortly after we were seated. I had the quinoa bowl with chicken. This was a generous portion size and it was $15 plus whatever it cost to add the chicken. I couldn’t eat it all. The flavor was good. The breakfast platter was plenty of food too – tally I would say both meals were shareable. The platter was $16. I thought these were good prices considering how much food we got.

The atmosphere inside seemed like it would be a sports bar vibe.

This was a good meal.

We love this place! We are from Miami and 2 years ago my daughter competed for the first time at the Arnold Classic. By change we had lunch at Parley’s the first day we were here. She loved it so much. We ate there every day. She loved the food but more than that the service was above and beyond. The owner sat with us. Spoke to her about weightlifting and made it unforgettable. Fast forward to today, 2 years later. We got off the plane and she made us go straight to Parley’s. This time was even better. YANA was amazing. We were a party of 25 and she handled the rush with grace. Made us feel right at home and the food was amazing. We are here until Sunday and needless to say we will be back everyday. Hopefully Yama is there to take care of us again!
