I’m just going to say it… Pedro’s Mexican Restaurant might actually be the best Mexican restaurant on planet earth. And yes, I will stand by that statement in public.
First of all, the speed. I swear the second you sit down, chips and salsa appear like they teleported. I’m convinced there’s a chip fairy hiding in the kitchen whose only job is to make sure your basket is never empty. I’ve barely had time to look at the menu before my drink, chips, salsa, and queso are already on the table.
Second, the portions. When my plate comes out it looks like they accidentally gave me food meant for a family of six. I always tell myself I’ll save some for later… and then somehow it’s gone. Every. Single. Time.
And don’t even get me started on the cheese dip. If loving that queso is wrong, I do not want to be right. I’m pretty sure 90% of my personality at this point is just recommending Pedro’s queso to people.
Honestly, if I ever move away, Pedro’s might be the thing I miss most. Not the weather. Not the scenery. The chips and queso.
10/10. No notes. If Pedro’s ever starts a loyalty program for people who eat queso like it’s a personality trait, please sign me up immediately.

This is my favorite mexican restaurant, the food is amazing! The servers are nice and funny. I have yet to have a bad time when i go. My food suggestions is the Philip’s special, the mojete (i hope i spelled this right)….But if you want a real special treat, order the torta with all the meat I call it the “monster” torta it is the best!!!! I dreamt of this sandwich and they made it possible. Much love to pedros! They also have a great cheese dip that is in local grocery stores!

Nothing was seasoned, wings were horrible, Rice was dry, huge glob of sour cream on my daughter’s burrito, hardly any meat in the fajitas… I would have given them no stars if I could have. To be honest, I am partial. Our family has known Pedro and family for over 25 years. Today we had breakfast. Pedro’s just started serving breakfast and it was very good. I had the Huevos Chorizo with grits and toast. My wife had the Pedro’s Sampler and gave the meal 2 thumbs up. My daughter had Blanca’s Pancake Breakfast. Y’all, the pancakes were huge, bigger than from some bigger restaurants.

Food is pretty good, but the service sucks. My brothers come here a lot, and say the same thing. I hadn’t been in years, and I’m surprised at how bad it’s gone downhill.
