Keep on Grinding Coffee House is a fun local spot with unique, rustic décor that makes you want to linger. From the moment you walk in, the wood finishes, quirky details, and warm atmosphere set the tone for a cozy coffee break.
I visited on a very busy late Saturday morning and ordered the quiche along with a vanilla latte. Despite the rush, the staff was pleasant, and my food and drink were both tasty and satisfying.

The Finest of coffee houses I have quite literally ever stepped foot in. Ed, the owner and builder of the shop shared his life story with us and I was mesmerized to say the least. The passion and quality here is genuinely unmatched! I will recommend this place to everyone I know, and will stop here any time I’m within 2 hours of it. The fact that he built all of this by hand and did it all himself is so crazy.

I watched the construction of a new coffee shop in BENZONIA two years ago. I finally was in town when it was opened and stopped by to check it out (and also stop in to The Cherry Hut for pie).

Such a beautiful warming place, has a great vibe full of rustic woods and unique seating. Atmosphere is amazing it really makes you feel at home. Lots of power sources to do work in the morning and amazing wifi (115 mbps download and 30 upload). Coffee tastes great with lots of different options. Antique decorations all around the store that are also for sale. It truly is such a great little place to spend your morning.

Man. If this place had couches and more inviting seating it would be mega. The seating is kind of awkwardly laid out but I understand maybe the city or layout necessitated this, still 5 stars. Great Espresso , Mocha, infact all the drinks I have had here have been pretty righteous.

Stopped in for coffee, lattes, and treats for 7 people in July of 2025 while exploring Michigan. The atmosphere of wood and rustic clutter was fantastic. The drinks and muffins were very good and were the best we had on the week-long trip. This is a great coffee shop and worth a visit if you are passing through Benzonia or staying in the area.

An incredible atmosphere with lots of rustic wood, serving much more than just coffee! We were surprised to find lots of pastries, juices, smoothies, cinnamon rolls, and more! Every individual seat had easy access to a power source, making it the perfect spot to get a bit of work done in a morning.

Generally on vacation we like to try different coffee spots every morning. However this gem was so good it broke us and we got Keep on Grinding two days in a row! I got the mocha and my wife got the special. Both drinks were perfect! The muffins look to die for as well but unfortunately we will have to wait due to be being too full from dinner. We look forward to trying more drinks and food from this small town gem!
