We’ve gotten food from here before mainly for the boba tea which they sadly don’t have anymore and had a great experiences. But as of recently it seems like they’re extremely understaffed with only one man working. we got steamed pork Shumai to-go for over $7 and it was RAW so be careful. Eating raw pork can be very dangerous. we thought the 4 dumplings would make up for the price but sadly it did not. I’m really disappointed because we’ve liked it in the past.

Great restaurant with very diverse menu. I tried the Braised Pork Belly and my friend tried the Special Fried Rice and they were both amazing. They used to have Boba team but I don’t see much anymore. The chef is very friendly and he is such a fun guy.

Amazing food! I got the pork bbq fried rice noodles and they are so good. Got so much food for the price. Also talked to the people there while waiting on the food and they are super nice people. Highly recommend the food here!

This place is 100% worth the wait. They are extremely short staffed right now, typically they have one server on the clock and the owner is in the kitchen cooking up some of the best Chinese I’ve ever had in this area BY HIMSELF. We came in for dinner and although we had to wait nearly an hour there was not a single thing that hit the table that we didn’t enjoy. The waitress was attentive and was honestly a trooper considering some of the customers she had to deal with. Next time I would certainly order ahead and take it to go for a quicker experience, but I didn’t mind the wait. The restaurant was clean and quiet. The food was amazing and there was authentic options on top of the standard American-Chinese fare. I got to try things I have never seen around here before and I really enjoyed them! Please support this business so they can get more staff, and if you know someone looking for a serving job, send them this restaurant’s way! We will definitely be coming back no matter how long we have to wait. I have not found a better place for Chinese in this area that even comes close to this one.

This is my favorite place to eat down town! The owner is very nice and cares a lot about his craft. Every time I’ve eaten here the food has been wonderful! If you like to try new things he gives excellent recommendations. Dry Pot has been my favorite so far!

I absolutely love their food and boba! It’s super flavorful and tastes very fresh. No fake meat. Today I got a pineapple fried rice with chicken instead of shrimp and a crème brûlée boba milk tea for $21 but this will feed me for 3 meals honestly! It’s a lot of food! Both are delicious and while they may not have the ability for order ahead yet they get their food out fast. There is a bit of a language barrier with some of the staff but they are all kind. They don’t have a ton of decor yet but honestly I don’t mind the minimalist feel the place gives off. It’s almost hipster in a way. Overall definitely would recommend and I will be back for many more meals!

The owner, Jackie, was so welcoming to our group, even though he was super busy. He was working hard on all the pickup orders but was still checking in on us. We were visiting from NYC and the dry pot tasted authentic and delicious. Worth the wait, considering he was the only one working the restaurant!! Would recommend all the locals to come by and support him if you want authentic flavors and generous portions 🙂

To start when we got there the tables were dirty but we were sat at the table anyway there was food from the previous customers on the table that she quickly wiped off but by no means clean the table. And she only wiped off half the table so that left the rest of the table dirty..
We ordered the hot pot which I strongly do not recommend especially the vegetarian one. We also ordered spring rolls and dumplings.
The service was ridiculously slow. When she brought out the spring rolls they were pretty much the same thing you would get by going to the freezer section at weis’s.
When the hot pot came out she kept playing in our food. The worst part was the noodles were overflowing the plate. They come out on these plates that are like 8-in plates. The noodles were touching the table and she was using her bare hands to pick them up and put them back on the plate. Then as we were eating and putting stuff in our boiling water she was coming back and picking up our food and throwing it in the hot pot she wouldn’t stop playing with our food.
There was nothing at all to drink as far as their tees they were out of everything other than cans of soda for $2 a can. This was on a Friday night at 7:00 p.m. so you would expect that a restaurant would be prepared to have everything on their menu available on a Friday evening.
When we originally got there there’s a scan thing to do your order that’s what we were doing Then she comes to take her order and the menu that she showing us is all in Chinese so that was 100% not helpful.
when she first said about the hot pot she it was $39 then after we ordered she comes back out and says it’s 49.
She added a tip on the bill that was not seen because you do not get any itemized tip but the bill came out more than it should have.
When she asked us how the food was it was obvious I hadn’t eaten any of it and I just kind of shook my head no and she said that kills me and she was her. Well the food was lousy.
The tomato base for the vegetarian must have been nothing more than water with slices of tomatoes thrown into it because it definitely had no kind of base or flavor. Nothing had any flavor.
We will not be going back. Not after she plays with your food while you’re trying to do it yourself, overcharges I think she added her own tip, and gives you a dirty table and touches your food with her bare hands picking it up off of a dirty table. It definitely was not worth $80.
