It’s Bowl day, the hometown team (Hurricanes) are playing and the chicken wing selection is on the line. We go to the “wings near me” on maps and “Wings n’ Things” pops up. We lucked out on this roll of the dice because the place was awesome. So much so that we ate there and ordered a bunch more for later. Laura, our server was awesome. She knew the menu like the back of her hand, and even suggested a way to save money by ordering specials instead of itemizing our selections. Thank you for the awesome experience!!

So I went here twice to try the Cheese steak Sub for lunch. The flavor was good and the service was good too. Cheese steaks are one of my favorite meals and I get them everywhere. With that said this has to be the least amount of meat I have ever had on a sandwhich and I paid more than $20 for a sandwhich, fries, and a fountain drink. I went twice in case it was just a one off thing but nope. I took a picture from each time and same thing. All bread and no meat. Other food may be good here but don’t get this sandwich unless you just like bread.

Atmosphere and attention are great, but if you are into spicy wings this is not the place. My wife doesn’t like spicy wings but she didn’t find her wings special either. Now, I eat wings all the time so perhaps I was expecting too much as I had never heard of this place. Can’t speak for anything else but service was awesome.

Once again I have to review them. They are the best. The service is always a pleasure. The food no matter what you eat, not just the wings is always good. If something doesn’t come out right, they don’t make you feel guilty to send it back. I have tried many items and love every one of them. I highly recommend everybody needs to go there. Even with a new owner, he has kept everything the same. They even make their own salad dressings which are the best. I wish I could buy them. That is why I give them five stars

Sup, Googlers, it’s your favorite hometown reviewer. I have had lunch here a few times now, and I’m never disappointed. Service is 100% very professional. They got really good registered training here. If you want my professional opinion. I always see a lot of locals hanging out here and grabbing lunch or people getting dinner to go. The kitchen does a great job banging out the orders. But I wouldn’t be a professional reviewer without being honest with people. The cooks need to know there’s cooking temperature. There is no agenda, just a busy individual with a life who chooses to write honest reviews and takes their time.
You are right, I had completely forgotten, a minimal discount was offered, believe it was something offensively low like 5% off, perhaps it’s why I forgot all about it.
However, when such a mishap happens, most managers tend to want to rectify the mishap and even walk over to the table to extend their apology for the situation, which never happened. It was just the young waitress. Nonetheless, it doesn’t change the fact that after we ordered the food the waitress disappeared for an extended time, if she would have been making her rounds to table, instead of hanging out about, she would have noticed that our food was missing. This is also part staff training issue, absolutely nothing to do with kitchen staff nor the fault of the persons who are extending their kindness by choosing to spend money at the restaurant.
Anyways, customer service is king in these times more than ever, especially as money is tight for some more than others. Wish at the very least you take that into consideration as your establishments’ livelihood depends on other people wanting to visit your place.

2/5 meals didn’t arrive, the waitress was nowhere to be found. Finally, about 40min after everyone else’s meal came out and were long gone, the waitress claimed something happened to the machine, so it didn’t print the order. YET other tables that were waiting for orders food arrived
Our wings came out uncooked. They didn’t make any attempts to rectify the issue. I’m sure because they wanted to start cleaning up.
The clam stripes were so small and mostly breading.
Can’t wait until JTs opens again!

Usually their food is DECENT not sure why they are still in business but the wings always smell horrible I have caught food poisoning multiple times from this establishment, tonight I ordered a well done 10 piece for my daughter because she claims they are amazing?!!!!!! Well we ended up in the hospital not 17 min after she had 3 wings with food poisoning!!!!!! This place needs to be shut down I kept telling my daughter the wings smell like poop that no good she said they normally smell like that huh the means the wings are no bueno being stored !!!!!!!!!!! Going to report this restaurant to the health department this is crazy

Overall I would eat here again and I’m very picky about my wings! I asked for them to be well done and the lemon pepper were definitely well done! Dry rub isn’t my favorite but they were still good. The hot flavored is more like a mild but I didn’t mind. The fries could’ve been cooked a little longer and seasoned with a bit of salt. The honey mustard was very satisfying and complimented the fries well!

Been going to this wing spot since I was a little kid, still great after all these years. I forgot to get all flats. The fries needed to be seasoned and cooked a little longer, probably do without them next time. BBQ is the best flavor.
