Looking for a real burger joint that also specializes in bbq? Look no further than Burgers n Que. I am a huge fan of specialty burgers and my wife loves ribs so you could imagine how excited I was to try it in my own town!
The place had only been open for 11 days upon our visit and business had been doing good so far. They are limited on hours available at the moment but are getting setup to extend their hours after the holidays.
We’ll start off by saying we were greated in true southern hospitality form when we arrived by Michelle AKA “Beans” whom many around Lewisburg know for her amazing lunch service at another soulful restaurant in town. She is a shining example of how people should treat one another.
Beans had to take our order at the front counter as they are still working on getting menus in but everything is written on the main board and easy to see. They have really fun names for the kids menu like “I don’t know” which is a chicken tender meal if I remember right lol.
I ordered the Mac attack which is a burger with bbq sauce, fried onions, bacon and Mac and cheese! It was very delicious and the Mac is on point. It can get a little messy so be ready. I topped it off with a side of homemade coleslaw which also tasted really good.
My wife got the 6 bone ribs and slaw with fries and she’s the type to eat the sides first to which she filled up on so she was only able to finish 3 of her ribs. This worked out beautifully for me and my father-in-law as we got to try them from her and we all agreed that they were amazing, the sauce was a sweeter bbq, which I love, and man was there ever meat on them bones… Well, there was at least. She also loved the slaw and seasoned fries.
My father-in-law got the brisket with Mac and cheese and green beans (vegetable of the day) and he said the brisket was so delicious, tender and so much given that he ate half the plate and saved the rest for the next day(they didn’t make it that long).
My mother-in-law ordered the Big Kahuna burger with lettuce, onion, tomato, American cheese and teriyaki glazed pineapple. She couldn’t really taste the teriyaki or pineapple and overall didn’t think it was anything special to brag about. They can’t all be winners I guess, but I keep my reviews honest. She did try the brisket though and said it was really good too.
The seating area gives every table room to breath which is nice, there is a mixture of chair styles and heights from the no back bench chair to the traditional back chair and even booths. I am not sure if they plan to keep it that way in the future or if it’s a work in progress. They are still running a food truck right now as well so getting decorations up and going is still in progress but the atmosphere is truly a down home make you feel comfortable type of place.
Prices are what I would call average for a restaurant, more on the low to mid range side considering all the great food you get. I can’t wait to come back and try the philly and the burger with the egg on it( the name escapes me) and hopefully have room left over to try a fried pie

Just came in for the first time and it was absolutely delicious! I loved the BBQ sauce bar (all homemade recipes) and the fries with the homemade seasoning were . We got burgers this time, but fully plan to stop back in soon for the BBQ we could smell smoking outside

As of writing this, Burgers n Que Is the best barbecue I’ve had Within a 50 mile radius. It’s not just the barbecue, it’s also the attention to detail and special touches given to every menu item. They have a homemade sauce bar with seven or eight options. My favorites are the pineapple and the Traditional hot vinegar sauce. Every side is seasoned and delicious. I like their Fried pies which are cooked to order. The food is consistent. I’ve never visited and thought Something wasn’t as good as the last time I had it. If you Want to experience southern style barbecue and food, Burgers n Que Is a great choice.

Passing through and looking for a good burger. We sure found it! We got the Diablo burger and fries. Fries were great. Hamburger was delicious! They have their own sauce they use. The spicy factor was spot on! The lady was happy to serve us. Food was fresh and hot. Couldn’t ask for more.

WOW! We are such burger fanatics and we’ve had a LOT of good burgers. But the food here isn’t good, it’s GREAT! It was our first time but definitely not our last! It’s definitely a hole in the wall spot, and hope more people try it out! Definitely going to be making the drive to have some more! And I can’t even begin to explain just how kind and personable the staff was. Overall a perfect restaurant. Great food, even better people.

Stop here. They have great food, crafted with care and expertise. They have a diverse menu, and lots of sauces for you to help yourself to. We lucked out when we randomly stopped here for lunch.

Super clean restaurant. Delicious juicy hamburgers. Very nice staff and owner. The menu also includes BBQ items with traditional sides. We plan to return and try the other items on the menu.
