One of the most delicious breakfasts I’ve ever had.
From the moment you walk in, an amazing aroma fills the place, and the atmosphere instantly feels warm and welcoming — like being at home while your grandmother prepares breakfast for you.

A big thank you to the wonderful staff, and I truly wish you continued success.
Whatever you choose from the menu, everything is incredibly delicious and thoughtfully prepared.

The food here was excellent. We ate outside and our main reason for coming was the sausage gravy of which I am a connoisseur and approve of. Different than your southern Hardy’s or Cracker Barrel but still delicious and recommended.
We are outside though and the bees were pretty bad. I think the short trees attract them along with the syrup and sugar left over on the tables once the food has been eaten. I recommend eating inside if you have an allergy.
Otherwise though, 5 stars! Thank you.

We celebrated a good friend’s birthday near the Atlantic City area. The weekend culminated in a breakfast at The Cracked Egg Cafe. What a choice. The food was exceptional. The welcoming atmosphere, outstanding. This place is homey, warm, and a must-visit experience. Superb place!

We loved this little gem in Galloway. From the friendly service to the delicious food – with a small town homey vibe, the perfect place for a great breakfast. Richard the owner and cook knows how to juggle all the orders, cooking up fresh eggs and home fries and pancakes like a seasoned pro. We loved the pancakes – fluffy and not too sweet with anything, and the sausage patties were so good grilled fresh to order. Great value with generous portions – definitely worth a stop.

I have something called Gastroparesis.. my stomach muscles are paralyzed… I was skeptical about eating but I shared with my kids. This was the most delicious food I’ve tasted from a restaurant. I ate it All .. not to salty not too greasy not expensive either.
The Staff were soooo incredible nice.. that made sure we were very well taken care of.. IF YOUR IN THE AREA THIS RESTAURANT IS DEFINITELY worth stopping to eat… I recommend this place…

My husband and I went there for breakfast, we are locals and are trying out all the local spots. The atmosphere from the beginning was very off putting. The restaurant is very small and there was 1 waitress and 2 other employees behind the front counter. No greeting. A sign by the register said, “please wait to be seated” so we did. The waitress passed us several times and on her last pass went to ask *someone else* to “do their to-go order”. No one came even then, so she finally acknowledged us and had us sit anywhere. An older gentleman who I believe was the line cook came up and brought our drinks, he was fine. No one brings us a menu. My husband takes one from the table beside us. After about 10 min the waitress comes to take our order. Food comes out in a timely manner and it’s decent, fairly priced. Our waitress never checks on us. My husband has to get up to ask for the bill and boxes. A younger gentleman helps him and he’s fine as well. But our waitress? Awful. I was a waitress for 4 years and I know the job is not easy and social interaction wears you down, but that’s your job. My boss would have lost it on me if I saw a customer walk in and didn’t at least greet them. A simple “Welcome in! Have a seat and we’ll be right with you” from literally anyone would have sufficed. I see the owner gets very defensive in the responses when you say the service was unfriendly, but unfortunately that was my experience. It seems like many of the negative reviews here are about the same waitress too. Is it really too much to ask that she say, “Hi my name is [blank], what can I get for you?” And then circle back to ask us how everything came out? I thought that was very basic waitress training. I felt like the waitress did not want us to be there.

The Cracked Egg Cafe lives up to it’s great rating on Maps. The outside looks like a place from a storybook and then you walk inside and it opens up into a Cafe that feels much bigger yet cozy. The food was great and the environment was kept spotless. The gentleman in charge showed that he cared about everyone who was there. He especially cared about the temperature/air conditioning since today is extremely warm outside. The Cracked Egg Cafe is a must-visit for sure.

Super friendly staff, egg sandwich was delicious – no skimping on the bacon. Home fries were perfectly seasoned. The biscuits and sausage gravy were the bomb. Best I’ve had, other than the south.

What a great little restaurant! Super nice people, excellent food, generous portions and fair prices. The restaurant is accessible ♿️ but it is tight with tables right next to each other. There are a few tables outside, so if the weather is nice, there’s more space there.
The food was plentiful, served fast and hot. Excellent home fries! Our waitress was very nice and attentive. Lots of families w kids. Lots of locals.
Parking right outside.
