Tried the tlayuda (enormous but delicious) and the lengua tacos. The large jamaica is very large. Service is friendly and prompt, and the interior is very clean. Be warned: the tlayuda will easily feed 3 reasonable people or 2 hungry chow hounds.

It added one minute to our trip back from Nagshead, worth it! We got the chicken sopas, delicious. They also make fun fruit waters of the day. Today it was watermelon and mango. We also appreciated their 100 percent on their food safety inspection. The restaurant is right next to the Bayside marina so after we ate we walked down the boardwalk. So many fish jumping. It was a nice spot to break up our drive.

We found this place on Google maps en route from Emerald Isle to Virginia Beach. It was a perfect for a quick delicious lunch. We had the Birria tacos and the street tacos. All were very tasty. Everything was fresh and authentic and the restaurant was very clean. Prices were reasonable as well.

They were out of 1/2 the items on the menu which is understandable.
I got 4 soft tacos, they were bland n dry, I was at home so I added sourcream and taco bell sauce, made them better.
I also got a chicken burrito, same thing, bland I used the white sauce they gave, and added sourcream and taco bell sauce made it better.

The food his is exceptional, actual real Mexican food cooked properly and seasoned to perfection.
Everything we’ve tried has been A1+
Tamales, enchiladas, tacos, mole, quesadillas are all superb.

The food was authentic Mexican food, not Tex Mex. The service was amazing, and the food was outstanding. It is a good truck we sat on the back of our tailgate and had lunch it was delicious.
