Atmosphere seemed drab and just uninspiring. Service was good but really slacking on checking in and correct ordering and just a general happiness in regard to customer service. Did have one mistake but was promptly corrected.
I myself ordered a non alcoholic peach drink, that was basically a watered down blended yogurt kind of vibe. Not saying that’s what it was but that’s what it was like. Definite waste of money there.
The food was good, not spectacular but pretty good nonetheless and we did enjoy our pastas.
We did quite enjoy our meal.
After ordering it took 25-30 minutes for our appetizers to arrive. No bread was offered prior.
Our mains arrived 5-10 minutes after our appys.
Overall, the food was good. Our server seemed a little overwhelmed, she didn’t check our water or offer bread.
We had to ask another server after our mains were brought out for some bread and a water refill.
It was really busy and 10 or so days in from opening so I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt as there’s bugs that still need to be ironed out.
Then, the food is also delicious!!!
The garlic fries could have been better, but the minestrone soup, bread that is brought out for the table nicely buttered with a hint of garlic, and the pastas we had were absolutely amazing.
We were waiting there for 3-4 minutes for someone to come… “to be seated” and finally decided to go in and find someone… The young lady asked us to wait “to see if someone can serve us” so we sat on the two chairs admiring the beautiful decorations. She came back and she apologized for not being able to seat us because we are a little short on staff “. The restaurant was 3/4 empty!! And we saw at least 3 waitresses walking around. When she saw our disappointed faces she said that if we are willing to wait 20-30 minutes we are welcome to…. To wait 20 minutes in an empty restaurant?? No thank you!
Extremely disappointed. I wonder who had time to decorate so beautiful if so little people can actually enjoy it…. We were ready to leave when another couple walked in and in five minutes they walked right out… exactly like we did! So sad!
