The Sidewalk Cafe is located in Stockwell Indiana. We are a cafe style establishment with no wait service. Order at the counter but feel free to dine in. Breakfast and lunch offered daily including homemade Biscuits and Sausage Gravy, Breakfast sandwiches, breaded tenderlions, egg salad, chicken salad, sloppy joes, taco’s and more. Our menu and specials change daily. Please check our social media accounts for today’s specials. We offer custom Latte’s, Hershey’s Ice Cream, including hand dipped shakes, homemade cheesecake, and baked goods. A variety of Family meals to go are offered including Chicken and Noodles, Enchilada’s. Family meals must be ordered a day in advance. We also offer charcuterie boards and boxes .

A nice blend of modern and rustic in the middle of cornfields, this place didn’t disappoint me. The food is good too. I generally am not a fan of fried chicken, but here I had it, and somehow the batter they used and everything, I liked it! The owner was very nice as well. Will return.

I have enjoyed 2 dinners and 2 breakfasts at this new, small-town cafe. Each meal has been great. Tonight’s ribs were excellent! I also enjoyed the smoked mac & cheese. The desserts vary from day to day…the chocolate covered strawberry cheesecake was delightful! I love the small-town friendliness of this restaurant. Please keep in mind that the restaurant is new and the staff, many of them very young, are new. Give them some grace!

This hidden gem in Stockwell is so cool and rustic and hip all at the same time .. The owner is amazing and amazing cook as well .. He was on his line working with his crew and still had some time to come greet me and my family knowing we are new here and same with all the other customers as well . the food is by far the best for this local spot the atmosphere is warm are loving outside is rustic when you walk in .. You must put this great restaurant on your list to visit. The the food was wonderful. The remodel of the building is warm and inviting. The family that owns and operates the Cafe are hard working and provide more than you’ll ever expect. I had the bacon burger, and it was delicious, along with the side salad. Their home made dressing tasted great. Be sure to pick up a few Cookies for the ride home. We chose chocolate chip, and they were the best.

I enjoy the simple, relaxed atmosphere. Mainly a carry out diner, with a few places to sit and eat inside. Julie and her husband run the Cafe so you may consider service slower than some other places. I consider it friendly and worth the wait!

Fantastic meal. Got the ribs dinner special. Glad I got the half rack because there was so much meat on those ribs. Great flavor. Perfectly smoked. Super tender and the meat fell right off the bone. Smoked Mac and cheese was also pretty awesome. It just opened so it was very busy but they did a great job staying on top of the service and kept everyone happy. Dessert was great- only wish I would have gotten a whole cheesecake to go.

Came here with family and friends and it did not disappoint. I got the North Creek Burger. Perfectly cooked and the BBQ sauce was great. Generous helping of fries- enough to feed myself and three kids. The kids ate all of their food and enjoyed a fresh baked cookie afterwards. My husband got the ribs. Wow. I only got a small bite because he did not want to share. But they were delicious and fell off the bone. Great Smokey flavor. The chocolate dipped strawberry cheesecake was amazing. Would definitely recommend trying it out. We will be returning to try more menu items. Small town feel, big flavor and great food.

Stockwell resident in walking distance. I haven’t had the pleasure of eating in the restaurant, I have just had carry out. I highly recommended the ribs and any hamburger on the menu. The staff is very friendly and this place is an awesome addition to our small town. I am very much looking forward to trying the large variety of items on the menu. This cafe is excellent. The food was delicious and homemade. The service was exceptional and the prices were very affordable. Check this place out. It has choices you don’t normally find in a small town cafe and is well worth the trip outside of Lafayette’s usual suspects. I can’t wait to try their breakfast. We will be back.

My daughter had the French toast with strawberries my wife had biscuits and gravy and I had Papa’s breakfast food quality was very good portion size with great. But they had a new shaft and so breakfast took about an hour to get. Will definitely give them another chance.
