Came through at 5:03 this morning. I went to Bojangles after McDonald’s decided that they weren’t going to start serving breakfast until like 6:00 a.m. today because they were short-staffed or something. After McDonald’s had already collected my money for the order I placed and would refund it but it would take one to seven business days. So I’m in a poor mood to begin with.
I waited in the parking lot for 10 minutes because it was 4:50 a.m. when I got there and I didn’t want to sit at the drive-thru being impatient. When I rolled up the order someone shouted at me. It’s Bo Time in a terse and uncheerful voice.
This person continued to take my order. Very short clipped words. Absolutely pleasant trees whatsoever. And at the very end stated my total followed by a pull around. Okay I thought. Well at least I’ll get my food this time. When I rolled up this person had the manager tag on and simply said my total and held her hand out. I handed her my card and thanked her. And received no reply. My food was literally shoved at me after my card was handed back without any eye contact whatsoever while she complained to the other person in the store about her schedule.
I once again thanked her. And receive no response.
Now the food is great. I’ll be the first to admit that. The biscuits were fluffy hot steamy. The bacon, egg and cheese biscuit. Every bit of it was spot on. On my sausage and gravy that the biscuit was once again fresh, fluffy and absolutely airy, and the gravy was just the right consistency.
But if this is a manager and perhaps the restaurant manager, I don’t understand the level of service. Now I get everybody has a bad day. I do all the time. I did customer service for years, you can’t take it out on your customers. If you hate your job that much then go find a new one. I know that sounds flippant but take it from somebody who spent years in customer service and started to hate their job. The best thing I ever did was find something else to do even if it hurt for a little while.
I don’t know what was going on with her. I don’t know what was the problem was but I felt like I was the problem. Only because the food was so damn good. Would I go back. Someone needs to take a look at what’s going on with this manager.
To summarize, I said thank you to that employee at least 3 to 5 times. I never received a please a thank you and appreciate your business or anything whatsoever. I wanted to scream.

The guy at the window sourted me 20 bucks when I asked him about it he told me we dont do Penny’s eny more. I told him you showed me a 20 and he got so made he walked away. The manager then come to the windows and started yelling at me WE DONT DO PEENYS. I told her as well he didnt give the right change. She gets made and then yells at the first guy around the corner. Then she takes my receipt and the change and still shorts me a five. On one at the windows would count change to give me the right amount. We had to go ahead and just leave but the manager and the first guy was steaming made at me for them not knowing how to count money out of a register.

Completely messed my order up last night no biscuits and couldn’t even feed my kids because they gave me thighs instead of legs which I asked for legs instead. Ordered a 8 piece box meal. When we opened to eat, instead of 2 pieces of each part of the chicken, we had 1 breast, 3 thighs and 2 wings and legs. For $32 we should have received what is advertised.

Biscuits weren’t cooked all the way done. Took it back, and the one it was replaced with was just as doughy. The person taking our order wasn’t proficient and kept getting confused on how to ring the order up. Last time I’ll be going to that restaurant.

This is the best Bojangles of all the ones that we eat at not just because of the food but because of the employees. Cindy the manager was fantastic very sweet and accommodated Us in every aspect. The other employees are on the ball helping us at every turn and we appreciate how nice and accommodating they were.
