Extremely disappointing. The chicken pieces were tiny, dry, and heavily greasy. Barely any meat for the price, and it tasted like it had been sitting out. Crispy on the outside but hollow and overcooked inside. Not worth the money at all.

Food was cold and some of the pieces were burnt and I paid for some sauces and was never in the bag and when I called back manager on duty swore up and down she personally put it in the bag and said chicken just came out the fryer, didn’t want to drive back since it will cost me more in gas then to get another batch when I return the old burnt chicken because she was not going to refund the money . Going to feed it to my dog. No professionalism whatsoever when you call they answer with hi. From the other reviews this happens often wish I read it before. The evening crew should be fired immediately. Never returning to this location. What a shame. Popeyes at this location is unsafe to consume, the health department should pay them a visit. Everytime I come to this location I get the 16 piece chicken. There’s always something wrong with the order. I ask for it fresh, it’s not fresh! Last time they gave me 12 instead of 16. I guess it’s hard to count. Majority of the workers gave attitude or just plan out rude. There also extremely stingy with the sauces. I get a 16 piece and only give me 1- 4 sauces? I will not be going back to this location.

Sunday 23th 2025 I don’t usually like going to this location during the day since it’s usually all over the place and my order is consistently wrong but Adam closing shift is the only person I want to deal with he had common sense to actually listen and double check for a deal that I knew Popeyes has Which is family meal deal he also was very polite and calm and found the deal daytime shift should really take notes!

Took me 10 min to order even no one was in front of me and guess what! Missed 2 large fries in the bag…. so, I had to ask for what I paid for! Finally I found out that she put least amount of fries i ever seen my entire life. I’ll never going back to this location. Stay out of this disastrous place.

On Friday October 29, 2021, at approximately 8:30 PM, my daughter and I visited the Popeyes Chicken Restaurant located at 1620 W Foothill Blvd, Upland, CA 91786. We began to enter the drive thru and saw it was blocked off with cones. The sign was not lit, but there was a sign on the board that read “Due to corporate shortages some favorites may be out. I then drove up to the window and saw employees cooking in the chicken. I then drove to the front of the restaurant where several cars were parked. I went up to the front doors, but they were locked. A sign on the door said due to staffing lobby is closed, drive thru is open. I then knocked on the door. A staff member came towards the door holding a box a food and bypassed the door and went to the dining area. There I saw four other staff members and what looked to be a manager all sitting down and eating. The manager had a black shirt. I then took out my phone and began to take pictures, they suddenly all turned and looked at me. One employee got up and turned off the restaurant lights. As I took pictures, people in cars began to cheer saying they were also upset. This is no excuse for a restaurant to do this specifically on a busy Friday night. I would like to be contacted by a District Manager

If you want to wait for your fast food once you place your order you’ve found the right location. I don’t even eat at Popeyes that often, however the other locations I’ve been to never had me pull into one of the spaces to wait for my order along with half of the other people in their cars. That’s perfectly find because I will never give this location or any other Popeyes my money again. Just horrible customer service and fact this location can’t seem to keep up with the demand speaks volume maybe this place shouldn’t be open. So I decided to go inside and get a refund the manger who was in the gray car next to me smoking a vape didn’t even apologize when he handed me the receipt showing me that my money was refunded.
