I was really looking forward to trying Taylor’s after reading so many positive reviews. I was especially excited about the cupcakes, but unfortunately, they didn’t live up to the hype. The cupcake itself was dry and crumbly, and the buttercream was overly sweet and quite dense.
When I visit a bakery, I expect the desserts to taste fresh and clearly stand apart from store-bought alternatives but that just wasn’t the case here. To be honest, I’ve had better cupcakes from packaged brands like Walmart and Kroger. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

This was my first time at Taylor’s in Fishers. We were on some errands and the post office was our next stop. We spotted the sign for the bakery even though we wanted the post office. My daughter made many turns so I could get my favorite pastries. I was planning on going to the store on Allisonville Rd but got all the delicious treats. I am naturally going back. Taylor’s is the best baked goods

Honestly I’m surprised how many good reviews there are. This places baked good are mediocre at best. I remember when their baked goods were much better but I have to agree it seems more corporate style based on the quality and taste of several of their products. We got a mix of several items, so many were dry, lacked flavor or were so sickly sweet we had to throw most of the items away. Very disappointing, this place used to be much better.

Taylor’s has the best cakes and pastries in town. The cinnamon rolls with butter cream icing are to die for. Service is always prompt and courteous. Highly recommend their fresh cakes with butter cream icing for any special occasions.

Stopped in the Fishers store hoping they’d have IU cookies for the Peach Bowl game and they did! The clerk was friendly and greeted me as soon as I walked in. Prompt service was appreciated.

I’ve grown up with Taylor’s bakery. They’ve been a part of my family’s celebratations from birthday cakes to wedding cakes for the past 60 years. Today, I purchased their dozen variety of danish for Christmas brunch. They look beautiful so I just had to test one, you know, to be sure they would okay to serve on the big day. Once again, Taylor’s has not disappointed. Delightful and absolutely beautiful in presentation.

We usually love anything we get from Taylor’s Bakery. Unfortunately, the IU cookies we bought to have for the semi final play-off game were extremely dry and just did not taste right. We aren’t sure if it had to do with the edible IU logo on top of the cookie that actually started peeling off as soon as you took the first bite, or if the cookie was just made too early in the week and sat out for too long. We will still be back to purchase our cakes and cupcakes, but might be a bit hesitant to buy the cookies anytime soon.

This used to be a hometown treasure, family owned and excellent quality. When i was a little girl, my grandmother took me to get treats and now i do the same for my grandkids.
The ownership has changed and it has a corporate feel. The cookies and rolls are smaller, nothing is as fresh as it used to be.
The people who worked there in the past were different , now it seems like high school kids who just have a job.
I went Saturday to pick up a treat at 2pm. They were supposed to be open till 5 but they closed early. I called the 62nd street location and they closed 3 hours early as well.
They likely pay less and dont treat employees well anymore and they can’t get people to work.
Typical corporate crud that puts the spreadsheet above relationship building and therefore quality and revenue is tanking.
How sad to see a local treasure destroyed. I give them 5 years before they are out of business.
