After engorging myself in orange chicken from 5 local Asian restaurants and 1 grocery store (control group), I have come to you with my final assessment.
After scoring each chicken based on presentation, smell, texture, and flavor, Jade Bowl has the best orange chicken!
Scoring 3rd in presentation and smell and 2nd in texture, Jade Bowl takes 1st place in flavor. Combining the total score, Jade Bowl beats all the competitors. Truly best in class.

We did a pick up order on the way home from Smithfield. My husband wasn’t feeling well at all and he loves wonton soup but if we haven’t been happy with what we’ve gotten from some of the surrounding restaurants in our area so I looked up this place and placed an order they were very kind and the prices are very affordable. This food is some of the most amazing authentic Asian food I have ever had it reminds me of a Chinese place. I used to go to back home and they served some of the best dishes. I got my favorite. The Pupu platter And it was exactly as I expected, but better!
I also got a small wonton soup and my husband got a large wonton soup with double wontons.
They charged me four dollars for the double wontons but that’s OK. It was worth it! Very kind people! Give this place a try you will not be disappointed!

First time trying this place 02/01/2026 and the food was absolutely disgusting I spent $40 on 3 plates of food the fried rice tasted 7hrs past stale the chicken did not taste like chicken it tasted like another unknown animal which is very concerning, the lo mein is just .99 cent spaghetti noodles with no sauce or flavor filled with onions, overall bland and flavorless not authentic we threw it all away after the first bites, let’s see how long it takes for us to get food poisoning. Yuck! 0/0!

The food was generally bland and could have been seasoned or flavored better. We asked to refill our own water bottle that we had brought with us, we didnt want a flavored bottled drink, but they didnt have any fountain or other way to fill our bottle for free. And an employee was smoking outside within 10 feet of the door, and Utahblaw requires 25 feet.

Ordered two items marked “spicy” (Sichuan Beef and Pork in Garlic Sauce) and neither one was at all spicy. Supplemented it at home with a few shakes of red pepper flakes. Veggies were fresh, but some of the meat was too tough for half my party. Fried rice was definitely not the right consistency (seemed to be steamed instead of day-old rice fried) and flavour was sadly missing.
