Wanting to try various dinner options in St. Anne we decided to give Mai Thai a try, and we are glad we visited. Despite the restaurant being packed on a Wednesday evening, service was quick, friendly, and attentive, and our orders were taken promptly. Was our food absolutely the best Thai we’ve even had? No, but it was nicely presented, tasty, well-proportioned, and fairly priced.

This place is run by a lovely local Thai family who live on the island and have been here for years. They are welcoming and eager to create a lovely atmosphere for you throughout the evening.
The food is fresh, tasty and plentiful. In particular I recommend the ‘yum’ starter and ‘basil duck pad’ main! Be sure to try their homemade ice cream – I’ve never tasted anything so scrumptious!
Seriously good food and another reason why Alderney is a haven! 🙂

The overall atmosphere was relaxed and it was generally a nice time from start to finish plus the location just at the bottom of Victoria Street makes it ideal to reach.
