Thai style papaya salad was bland and they skimped out on all the ingredients like tomatoes and beans. There was only a few pieces. It came out looking more like Lao style.
Drunken noodle was mediocre. The noodles were not cooked thoroughly and hard to swallow. We were really looking forward to this dish but unfortunately it just didn’t hit.
Beef Larp is one of my favorite dish to eat and I order it everywhere I go. Once again, this did not hit. Flavor was there but too light. The nice thing is that it comes with rice but instead of sticky rice or Jasmin rice, it came with basmati rice. The beef was not grounded nor sliced. It was in small chunks which I also thought was a little weird.
Cream Cheese Wontons is just your basic Wontons. It was good but the sauce was extremely watered down.
Thai Ice Coffee was great!
Dao Thai has very fast and friendly service. Got our food quite fast in the order of drinks, appetizers, and main course. Location is a bit sketchy but it was safe. Lots of foot traffic from the laundromat and connecting shops.
Plenty of parking with a police scanner.
I got the Tomyum and it was excellent at medium high spice. Well seasoned and a mild sweet citrus taste complimented the peanut flavor. Only small complaint I have is the bamboo shoots were a little under cooked in mine, leaving some weird textures in my mouth.
Highly recommend to anyone! Give it a try this place deserves the love!

Our waitress and waiter were attentive. They checked up on us and refilled our water when needed. I wish I order more of their food, but I’ll definitely come back with my family and try out other food on their menu.
It’s a small space, but perfect. Overall everyone was nice and friendly.
We ordered the Thai Boat, Pho and crab fried rice to go.
The Thai boat was good. I had the pho and it was plain, nothing that screams for me to come back.
The crab fried rice was good though. What turned me off was when I went to get the condiments on the table and opened the molding jalapeño. Ick. Thinking of it churns my stomach.
