Boat noodle was good and not grainy. Portion size was on the smaller side compared to other restaurants but enough to fill you. Instead of lime, it was served with herbs and lemon on the side.

Thai style papaya salad was bland and they skimped out on all the ingredients like tomatoes and beans. There was only a few pieces. It came out looking more like Lao style.

Drunken noodle was mediocre. The noodles were not cooked thoroughly and hard to swallow. We were really looking forward to this dish but unfortunately it just didn’t hit.

Beef Larp is one of my favorite dish to eat and I order it everywhere I go. Once again, this did not hit. Flavor was there but too light. The nice thing is that it comes with rice but instead of sticky rice or Jasmin rice, it came with basmati rice. The beef was not grounded nor sliced. It was in small chunks which I also thought was a little weird.

Cream Cheese Wontons is just your basic Wontons. It was good but the sauce was extremely watered down.

Thai Ice Coffee was great!

Dao Thai has very fast and friendly service. Got our food quite fast in the order of drinks, appetizers, and main course. Location is a bit sketchy but it was safe. Lots of foot traffic from the laundromat and connecting shops.
Plenty of parking with a police scanner.

Ordered for take out. The dining area was pretty empty when I arrived. The food was okay, kind of bland. Egg roll was average, but the sauce was not too great.

Pho combination was more of a chicken pho with the amount of chicken that was in it. Broth tasted bland and the meats had an odd taste like it was left out over night. The appetizers came out 5 mins after the entire. The spring rolls had a ton of veggies in it. Very dry. The pork egg rolls came out hot and crispy but the inside of the wrapper was doughy. Little to no meat in them at all.

The pho there is great, really flavourful, and there are more options than I’ve previously gotten before for things to add to my pho. The pad Tai, however, was slightly less good, little flavourful, slightly bland, kore peanut flavour would be appreciated. The spice was great, and the portion was very good as well. The price for the items isn’t unreasonable, and for two people, you can expect to spend 40 dollars, so it’s not amazing but not the worst either. Lastly, their dumplings were nice and crispy and perfectly filled, and the dipping sauce they came with was great as well. Overall service was excellent and quick, and the food was enjoyable.

I love their boat noodle, shrimp laab and pad see ew. Those are my go to dish whenever I dine in. Not in the best location, but I like that there’s plenty of parking. Good food and good customer service.

Truly a gem as mentioned in other reviews. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere is homey and warm.

I got the Tomyum and it was excellent at medium high spice. Well seasoned and a mild sweet citrus taste complimented the peanut flavor. Only small complaint I have is the bamboo shoots were a little under cooked in mine, leaving some weird textures in my mouth.

Highly recommend to anyone! Give it a try this place deserves the love!

First time eating here and order their pad kee mao (drunken noodles) w/pork and their spring rolls (no photo). The drunken noodles were delicious! The spring rolls were okay.
Our waitress and waiter were attentive. They checked up on us and refilled our water when needed. I wish I order more of their food, but I’ll definitely come back with my family and try out other food on their menu.
It’s a small space, but perfect. Overall everyone was nice and friendly.

Came here with my husband, we have never been here. It was confusing finding the door, but we finally found it.
We ordered the Thai Boat, Pho and crab fried rice to go.
The Thai boat was good. I had the pho and it was plain, nothing that screams for me to come back.
The crab fried rice was good though. What turned me off was when I went to get the condiments on the table and opened the molding jalapeño. Ick. Thinking of it churns my stomach.
