This place is an absolute gem and a must try for anyone who loves incredible Mexican food and a welcoming atmosphere. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality from the sweetest owners, which instantly makes you feel at home.

The food is outstanding and clearly made with care and talent. Every dish is flavorful, fresh, and beautifully prepared by chefs who truly know what they are doing. And the margaritas? Unmatched. Aurora makes some of the best margaritas around, perfectly balanced, refreshing, and dangerously delicious.

Daniela deserves a special shout out as well. She is always friendly, bubbly, and attentive, bringing such positive energy to the entire experience. You can tell the whole team takes pride in what they do, and it shows in every detail.

Whether you are coming for great food, amazing drinks, or just a feel good dining experience, this restaurant delivers on all fronts. Do yourself a favor and check it out. You will be back again and again.

Santo Domingo is a small eatery that serves excellent Mexican food including some of the best carnitas I’ve had at this writing. Their tacos are loaded with savory meat with a bit of tomato, onion, cilantro and guacamole. The texture and flavor of the carnitas in on point. The burritos are large for those with hungry appetites. Santo Domingo has indoor and outdoor seating. There’s three parking spots in the tiny lot in front. Otherwise there’s street parking. Check out my profile for more great eateries and craft cocktail bars. -VanPort Insider.

Food was alright – 3 stars. Mole was good but I’ve had better. Very expensive taqueria! Paid over $60 for two burritos, a plate of enchiladas, and a kid enchilada. Price: quality ratio was not good. Would not return unfortunately :-(. They also don’t display prices, so the total is a surprise.

Aurora is the best bartender in town! Perfectly refreshing margarita, not too sweet and the right amount of generous!

Some of the best Mexican food in Portland. Yummy burritos, including breakfast burritos, but also Oaxacan plates like tlayudas. Not much parking, so be prepared to walk half a block or so.

This place has some really good tasting tacos! Prices are fair for the taste and you can enjoy some imported beverages as well as ice cream afterwards. Plenty of seats inside or 6 picnic tables outside which is covered but see through (forgot to take pic). Parking can be accessed from both crossing streets but a little tight. Located on the corner. Do highly recommend and will definitely be back!

My wife and I came in for Dinner on November 24 I got the Camaron Diablo. The meal was delicious, my wife got the Chicken Tamale Dinner. She is a chef and didn’t stop talking about how good the Tamale was. She only ate 1took the other home. Well I just had it for Breakfast with 2 eggs.excellent!!the sauces they use there are hand made and all different. Give them a try and let them prove it.

Santo Domingo was recommended to me by the owner of Rose City Dogs. It’s next to impossible to find good Mexican food in NE Portland. I’ve driven by more times than I can count and often wondered. Well tonight I had the enchilada plate. So fresh, flavorful, reasonably priced. I’ll definitely return.

The only positive here is that they make their tortillas in-house — but even that was inconsistent. Two of my tacos came with freshly made tortillas, while the other two were stale, hard, and felt like they had been sitting out. The salsas were extremely bland, including the so-called habanero, which had zero heat. The service was slow, and there was no sense of urgency or attentiveness. Overall, a disappointing experience.

Came here and got the cactus plate. Not worth the 18.00 dls I paid. Very poor portion. No homemade tortillas for me!! My only positive was the salsas.
