We had a great time at Dixie Barbecue in Aventura! The American BBQ diner vibe and atmosphere were spot on, making it feel like a cozy, laid-back spot for a good meal.
We started with the loaded brisket fries, and they were amazing. The fries were topped with tender, flavorful pulled brisket, special house sauce, fresh tomatoes, onions, and we added pickled jalapeños for an extra kick. The combination of flavors was delicious!
The burgers were also fantastic—thick, juicy, and cooked just right. Everything came out fresh, and the service was friendly and efficient. The curly fries were nice and crispy, just how we like them!
Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be back. Only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the wait time was a little longer than expected, but everything else made up for it.

Burgers- Buns were soggy, meat was chewy, vegan cheese was not melted, and the whole thing was drenched in their sauce.
Chicken- The only good part of the order. KFC tenders were pretty decent.
Fries- Thin and soggy.
All of the food was lukewarm. Definitely wouldn’t order again.

Probably my favorite place in Florida. Fun, delicious, large portions and all at affordable price. They have dairy free milkshakes at a meat establishment which is rare at kosher restaurants which is great! Keep coming back every time I land in Florida.

The food here is incredible — the burgers are juicy, perfectly seasoned, and full of flavor. You can really taste the quality in every bite. The fries were crispy and well-seasoned, and the sauces (especially the Dixie sauce) are addictive.
The staff were super friendly and patient even during the lunch rush, and the restaurant was clean and well-kept. You can tell they care about what they serve and about making customers happy.
It’s hard to find kosher BBQ that tastes this good, but Dixie really nailed it. Definitely worth the price and the trip – I’ll be coming back soon!

Excellent restaurant! We had the extra dirty fries, pulled brisket sandwich, classic burger, and the pulled brisket burger all were fantastic and delicious.

This place is just okay.. We ordered Burgers, Fries, and Cole slaw. The fries were okay but kinda soggy, cole slaw was watery and the burger that we specifically asked for to be prepared without any additional veggies had lettuce stuffed into it. Delivery time was way longer then expected..

They never called my name and my food sat there for 15 minutes with some to go order while I was one of 3 people inside. Also the prices are about 20% more expensive than the menus you see online beware of that.
16 dollar pastrami sandwich literally has 4 slices of thin pastrami on it. Even if you ate kosher there are better places out there.

Great burgers place. I got the Dixie burger that had a kosher bacon substitute with a sunny side up egg topping which was great. The Moroccan burger and hotdog were also very nice.
