If you want some cheap and unhealthy greasy food, this is your place. Their options are very limited, fries are bland. We took some lunch out and it was just okay! It’s inside the campus so can stop by for a quick food anytime while working.

Service: Terrible. New kiosk machine they use are error-prone not taking an order even though you paid it. Most ridiculous thing was they were making me a liar out loud, even though I showed my transaction history of credit card.

My first time at this Steak and Shake and it was meh. I went to get food for me and my friend. I patiently waited in line til it was my turn to order. The cashier didn’t say anything to me so I just said I wanted two burger and fries and a side of cheese fries. Didn’t have to wait very long and got my food. I looked inside and noticed only one fry. So I waited and told her I think I might be missing a small fry. She took the bag and looked inside and said it was in there. It was not. I just told her not to worry about it and left. I’ll probably come back. I haven’t even ate yet

Really downgraded here. Used to be really good. Come few times a year.

No special drinks like Vanilla Coke.
Can’t do Cajun seasonings anymore.

The service here has gone down severely. I’ve been going here since my freshman year, I’m a junior now. It’s gradually gotten worse this year. Today I went in and most of the customers at the cash register were ignored. The employees weren’t busy, they were just standing there talking and not serving or saying anything to us. I got up to the register and a female employee leaned up against the register with her back turned to me talking to her friends for for at least 10 minutes. I don’t intend on going there anymore.

Waited 27 minutes (which I expected, so that was fine), but when 7 people after my wife and I got their order we went to see what was up with ours, the cashier rolled her eyes and snapped at us that it would be ready soon.
Well, it was ready shortly after, but the order was wrong. I can understand the food taking a while, but snapping at us and giving us the incorrect order is absolutely unacceptable.

Starkville/MSState should have waited on opening this establishment. Even with its recent opening there is no full menu and the items are way more expensive than the full version establishment. The food is mediocre at best. If it wasn’t for my friend’s bday and request to go there. I would have gotten my money back. 2 combos should not be close $30 and if not for her I would have gotten out of character. My take is if you crave Steak n Shake go to Tupelo establishment it’s better all around and not pricey like this one.

The service was quick and hot. First time going to the one on campus. Design to get the students out fast and in a hurry. My family and I enjoyed it very much.
