So happy we found Sweet Root market on our way to Bethany Beach. It was only a few minutes off our track and it was a gem. Delicious sandwiches wraps paninis and my taco salad! They also had apps and lots of sodas a full bar and wine.

Nice place in a 55+ community; however, open to the public. Great atmosphere, lots of windows! Restaurant is pretty good with menu choices, also has beer, wine and liquor. There often is live entertainment. We have gone on several occasions and have always enjoyed it.

I was very disappointed that the Sugar Beet Market had no vegan entrees. In this day and age, this is not acceptable. No vegan burger, no sweet potato fries, not even a hummus wrap!
I should rate this less than 4 stars, to be fair.
They did have a good craft beer on tap, good brewed iced tea, and a lovely atmosphere though.
But c’mon! Get your act together and offer good, solid 100% plant-based entrees, and you will enter the 2000s

Nice place to stop in for drinks and lite fare with friends. Music nights are the best but DJs should stay longer as there are a large number of folks that enjoy dancing and staying out later than 9:00 pm.

Sugar Beet Market – Not a good place to eat…They served me chicken salad on a stale roll. When I told them about the roll they did not care. They also charged me $2.50 for water from water fountain. Very pricey and would not recommend.
