Very good portions. We ordered hibachi , takoyaki, deep fried squid legs, tatan noodle.
Very cozy atmosphere plus very friendly and professional staff which made our experience even better. We are very pleased and satisfied and we highly recommend . We will definitely be regulars here .
The hibachi chicken and steak were both DELICIOUS. Fried rice was amazing (I am super picky about fried rice). Yum yum sauce was even better than at Grey Whale which was my favorite before.
I love that they have a sake flight, it was fun to try a bunch of different flavors. The Sakura mixed drink was really good, not too sweet but had a nice smooth flavor.
I forgot to take a picture of our food before it was devoured but I got one of the sake flight and the matcha cheesecake!
My girlfriend enjoyed the mini fried rice, though she noted that hers didn’t seem to have any shrimp in it.
I got the hibachi steak, and the steak itself was very good, though it’s worth noting that it didn’t come with the side of pasta or the soft boiled egg, which I was a bit sad about.
Overall, we had a good experience, though I will note that the cup I got for water held like 8oz of water or something, way too small in my opinion, the poor waiter ended up refilling it like 5 times for me.
I’m not in the biggest rush to go back, but I’d be happy to check it out again at some point, I do want to try their beef katsu!
Next, the miso soup was great: plenty of tofu + seaweed and something I’ve never seen before: green onions. They complimented the soup very well! Overall, the miso soup was well made, not overly salty and quite flavorful.
My mom got the Teriyaki Chicken: She said the rice was good, was not hard. The Teriyaki was not heavy and didn’t overpower the chicken meaning it had a great taste and was not unnecessarily salty. The vegetables were well cooked and not mushy.
I got the Shoyu Ramen: It had plenty of tasty toppings to compliment the noodles and broth. The broth was quite flavorful and not overly greasy or fatty like I’ve been had before. Definitely a nice warm meal for the upcoming winter.
For dessert, we got the Mochi Ice Cream, the Green Tea and Mango Mochi. They did not taste artificial, not overly sweet as well. They were quite nice after our meal!
My mom commented that even after everything we ordered, it was quite low priced. We had gone to places with lower quality and worse service that costed more.
Our server was very friendly and quick to serve us. We waited around 10-15 minutes for our main dish, getting our appetizer a few minutes after ordering it. The wait was not long at all.
The seats were comfortable and the overall atmosphere was pleasant—would come back again!
