Visited for my birthday and it was probably the best steak I’ve eaten.
We ordered the Chateubriand to share and it was outstanding.
Staff were extremely attentive. I would compare it to a similar service to which we have experienced in a Michelin starred restaurant – Thanks Mati and team!

Overall, a good meal. Service was exceptional. Incredibly polite, attentive and knowledgeable staff.
Started with bread, scallops and truffle arancini. The arancini was definitely the standout.
I ordered the cote de boeuf which was cooked exactly to my preference. However, there was a bit of gristle and fat could have been rendered down more. The garlic and rosemary potatoes were very good and the bearnaise was 10/10.
On the side, onion rings, tenderstem broccoli and chantenay carrots. All very nice with generous portions.
For dessert, I had a creme brulee. Creamy and rich but the top was not fully bruleed and the bottom was cold.

Superb 112 day aged ribeye with delightful sauces. French fried onion rings were amazing. Lovely Portuguese red wine. Staff were excellent. Cumbrae oysters – to die for!!

This has to be the go to steak place in Glasgow. If you’ve not been, you need to get a date in the diary. Great steak selection, staff only too happy to help you with the cut and amount/ size you are after. Wonder accompanying dishes too. The starters are varied and match the wider menu. Our dishes were all super tasty, plentiful, large in some cases, but that didn’t cause any issues. All round great meal, great staff and comfortable environment.

Enjoyed a very pleasant dinner at Tiffney`s recently. Its a lovely restaurant to walk into and we were given a warm welcome. The steaks were delicious and cooked exactly as we asked. Nice wine list, and not over priced. We chose a red from Portugal and it was excellent. A plate of cheese ended a lovely meal. The reason I have given 4 star and not 5 was that one member of our party is on a gluten free diet. This is where things are disappointing. Most of the sauces are not suitable. There is not a separate fryer for gluten free customers, so chips are a non starter as well. Back to the cheese, and no gluten free crackers or biscuits were available. So in short a wonderful restaurant, but if anyone is gluten free perhaps not the best choice. A few inexpensive changes would make a massive difference.

An absolutely phenomenal meal. As steak lovers we were eager to try Tiffney’s for the first time, and it definitely did not disappoint! Everything was cooked to absolute perfection, seasoned well and served promptly. The staff were welcoming and attentive, and the restaurant is delightfully quaint. Can’t wait to return!

I went with my daughter on Tuesday night as we wanted somewhere nice and relaxing with decent food. So pleased we snd fortunate to got a reservation the week before. We had scallops to start then I had fillet of beef and my daughter the rib eye. Both were amazing. Service was pleasant the waiter talked us through our steak options which was helpful. We chose well and I will return with my husband soon. Everything was just perfect. Not to be missed.
