Great customer service. The cheesesteak with a pickle was absolutely delicious. I loved the Freestyle Coke Machine that made custom drinks with unlimited refills. Definitely one of my favorite spots for a quick bite.

We have been to many Firehouses restaurants in several different states. What we received from this location was perfection. The subs looked like the ones represented on the menus. That alone is a rare feat to achieve in any food establishment. The meat was tender, fresh and smoked to perfection, the bread fresh and absolutely delicious. In a world where so many places only focus on profit, it’s obvious this location is focused on quality and customer satisfaction. I called the location and spoke to a very polite and very appreciative manager named Ashton. I recommend downloading the App. They have some great rewards for first time customers using the app. The menu has so many incredible choices. Literally something for anyone. They even have gluten free options!
Do yourself a favor and stop by and let Ashton and his crew treat you to a truly great meal. I know we will be back many more times. That menu! So much we want to try!

Firehouse’s take on a cheese steak certainly was … interesting… Low quality beef tasted like hot dogs. Also seems like they put spicy brown mustard on it??? Wth?
Haven’t tried these guys in years after thinking their sandwiches were mushy and bland. Also not a fan of the bread being clearly two pieces and your entire sub falling apart as you eat it.
Firehouse continues to live up to their standard of being almost worth the time and not nearly worth the money. Mobile order took 20 minutes to complete. It’s a pretty big red flag when you sub comes in a box, too. The industry standard has been to wrap it up so it DOESN’T FALL APART for more than a century. How can this chain get sandwiches so wrong, every time.

I just wanted to give a shout out to the guy working on Sunday night 11/23/25. I didn’t catch his name but he had blue hair and some tatos. My whole online order got screwed up and this dude made it all work out. He was super cool and extremely helpful which is not something you see a lot these days unfortunately. I’ve never eaten at firehouse and this one guy made me a fan and will be a repeat customer. He made my sub extra spicy and recommended a good hot sauce to pair with it. ( I’m addicted to he heat) Honestly this dude deserves a bonus or a raise or something. I went in kind of upset that my order got messed up and this guyade my experience 5 star. Hope you guys recognize your elite employee. Thanks again for the excellent experience.

Unfortunately, I have to leave this review. and please understand this is MY opinion. I have ordered in store/picked up order from online many times. But for some reason this day I guess I had the wrong team in.The person who gave me my food tossed it at me. I asked for a additional pickle, on top of the pickle that was to already come with the Steak and cheese sub. I don’t know what in the world they gave me. Again pretty bad experience at the 7543 N. Academy Blvd colorado springs location.

So, here’s the thing. Ordered food, got food, food looked and smelled great. It even tasted great. Except for the very last bite thats when it all when wrong. I have never ever in my life gotten sick so fast. I’m assuming its the lettuce that is possibly contaminated, maybe the tomatoes. Maybe a sick employee who prepared the food, I don’t know but over 18 hours later and it still hasn’t fully ran through my system. I’d have a health inspector go in and take a look before ordering again.

I literally was so patient with the team members working here, I was not rushing them or anything (it was not even busy). I asked for a bowl of potato soup with onion and cheese, before I paid. I asked for them to put it in because I noticed they did not, and this girl just got mad and gave me a mean look. Mind you I was still being nice and patient. I told her it was fine, and walked out but when I open the soup it’s not even at the little line inside of the bowl to be even considered full. I’m just disappointed especially since I tipped them. Never again.
