Great staff – very friendly and quick service. Food was good – my chicken in the taquitos was a little under seasoned but the guacamole was amazing. The salsa with our chips was very good with only a little kick a which we enjoyed. Good food and well priced. Would go back for sure!

Awide range of great Mexican and American food. I honestly can’t pick quick is better, their both good no matter what you settle on. Everything we’ve ordered here was delicious expert 1 – chili verde was a bit odd, on our last visit but it was a small portion on my combo plate. They get busy but the staff is nice, food is good, and fair priced.

Want to really like this place. Probably been here 10 times. Sometimes the service is good most of the time it is slow. Takes 45 minutes to get your food and you have to flag down servers for drink refills or additional chips and salsa. The food has always been good never a complaint about the quality or quantity of food. They have a nice back patio that is great in the summer but not always open in the winter

I took pictures of the food but my SD card crashed and lost all my pictures. But I think I can describe it to you. It’s fantastic! The slow cooked and well seasoned chunks of meat is full of flavor. Rice and beans as good as home cooking. The staff was very pleasant and friendly. When in Ione go here.
I’m adding to my review here. I just wanted to remind you how awesome and delicious this place and the food is. New items on the menu are amazing and you must try the pozole. I seem to be getting a bit forgetful when it comes to taking pictures but half way through shoveling my food in my mouth I remembered to snap a couple photos so you can see the passion that went into making this perfect dish!

My InLaws took my husband, son and myself here for dinner. The employees are very nice and answer all of our questions. The food was the absolute BEST AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD I HAVE EVER HAD! GO THERE! You will not be disappointed. If you live out out of town, its worth the drive! Your missing out! (5 of us ate dinner)

Second time eating here. Food is flavorful and plentiful. Service is attentive. Prices reasonable. Had enchiladas – beef and cheese, tacos – shrimp and pastor, nachos. Salsa is chunky, smoky and has just the right amount of heat. We travel from Sacramento to eat here and it’s definitely worth the trip.

Saturday night…. The business closes at 9pm… The grill is off when arrive at 8:35. I had cheese enchiladas and soup. Plate was either microwaved or improperly prepared l, as the refried beans were cold in the middle. Cheese was rock hard and inedible. For crying out loud CLOSE at 8:30 if you decide to shut down. Felt bad for the server, she was very afraid to tell us.. Laziness by the cooks for sure.

I’ve eaten here a few times it’s always good food and decently priced, the staff is helpful friendly and attentive, parking is a little sparce theirs a small lot in the back by the park for a few cars and limited parking in front on main Street.
