Everything about this place was great! You got a variety of dips with fresh veggies, and other add ons that you pay extra for, how’ve it’s worth it. The presentation was excellent! The wait time for the food was not long at all. The kielbasa roll was delicious and fresh, the Vermonster was delicious as well. I didn’t love it myself how’ve my boyfriend loved it im just picky. The desserts are more than amazing we tried them all, and add the pickle, I know it sounds crazy but DO IT, YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE! PLUS IT PAIRED REALLY WELL!! The staff was friendly, helpful with the menu as first time customers, and our waitress was so sweet, kind, friendly and just overall a great waitress. You don’t always get good customer service but she really was a ray of sunshine…. this place will do well in town. They also have a full bar, which i saw other tables try some variety of drinks and the presentation with those beverages was very cute, and classy.

So excited we got to try Oberlin’s new brewery called Haven on Main St. We ordered two of the handburger pies and a flight. Our favorite brews were the Nutty Scholar and the Nocturne Stout. The other two were also amazing, collectively all were unique and smooth. The handburger pies surprised us with the robust, savory profile. Evelyn was our fantastic waitress. The restaurant overall was very cozy, clean, and we can’t wait to come back!

My friends and I took a ride to check out Haven. We came for the beers, but what really blew us away was the food. It’s fresh, unique, and fantastic. I had the tomato pie, can’t recommend it enough. My son had a pizza which he devoured. My two friends had hand burger pie. They both loved their dishes as well. Service was perfect! The prices are very reasonable. This is not your typical brewery food. The menu is elevated with a wide range of choices. Prices dare I say might even be too low. My pie was $11. That’s a steal. They even have Beef Oberlin (not Wellington, because it’s not in Wellington)! It’s rare to find that in any restaurant and here we have it at a brewery. I have been to dozens of breweries all over the country. Best brewery menu I’ve ever had. Definitely will be back and I highly encourage you to come check out haven even if you aren’t a drinker. Oh ya the beers were very good. Only wish they had an IPA, that’s my favorite style. Please don’t sleep on Haven!!

great beers! i did a flight and all four of them were delicious. the staff was so knowledgeable, personable, and just down right nice people. the brewery is clean and so nicely decorated. we didn’t have any of the food but the menu looks well rounded and smelled delicious. def stop in for a drink!

We have been here twice with extended family and once for takeout, and it has been a hit every time! It’s wonderful to go out for a meal and have happy kids and happy adults across the board. We’ve tried some of everything from the dips, pizzas, the handburger pie, and the mac and cheese. It’s hard to choose a favorite here. 🙂 The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere is homey. We love it here.

On a lazy Saturday evening, my husband and I decided to stop in the atmosphere. The ambience with the lights and the squirrels caught our eyes and we gazed upon the facility. The staff was impeccable, friendly full of smiles. The flights were to die for highly recommend it if you’re ever in downtown Oberlin.

Haven is a very comfortable, quaint brewery with a nice beer selection and delicious food items. The menu keeps changing and growing, but everything always has a quality, homemade taste. Haven is such a nice addition to the city, and definitely worth the stop. I love the Irish vibe in this German-settled area.

Every time I go to haven, it’s an incredible experience. The place is cozy, and the food is delicious. The flatbreads are great, and the dips are so so delicious. Come here for great food on a chilly evening in Oberlin!

Ok, sorry if I boor you with my travels. However, I had another great little brewery I stopped at in Oberlin Ohio. Oberlin is a little southwest of Cleveland.
It is a small college town with a great art museum and still a small town. It is not commercialized and a downtown worth walking.
The brewery was Haven Brewing. I had their Supa’ Sausage with a pub mustard. The pub mustard was a great combination of honey, beer and mustard. It was much like a Belgian mustard with a sweet taste.
If you ever get a chance to be in the area stop in. Also, this little piece of Black Forest Stout Cake is a good finish.
