The best torta I have ever eaten in my entire life was the Cubano from here. Excellent. Thing was so phat I could barely pick it up. 10/10 would recommend.

One start is being too kind, the food was horrible, the quesadillas sawggy and oily. The total tasted horrible with alot of mayo and the cheese not cooked. I recommend not stoping by at all. Bad service might had just chosen McDonald’s instead.

We came for the tortas and left more than satisfied.

The pambazo + carne asada was delicious. It hardly needed salsa and had a good flavor. I would have appreciated more chorizo and for it to be crispy. The asada may have weighed down the torta, which made it very difficult and messy to eat. But where there’s a will, there’s a way and I found it! I don’t regret this decision and will do it again. The bread was very soft and fresh too.

I did not try the torta cubano, but my partner orders it every time and loves it.

We will be back to try the highly recommended al pastor

These tortas are the greatest anywhere, ever!! My mom is from Mexico City and these are exactly what I remember reading everytime we’d go visit my grandma. Chilangos is the slang term for folks from Mexico City and boy, when I first saw this place I had to try it. This is one of the first spots we hit up when we’re in town. Use to live here, and now that we don’t, this is one of the places I miss the most. The food is as authentic as it gets….I can’t find Pambasos anywhere else I’ve ever lived, and we live in AZ now. Their goat barbacoa and milanesa tortas are unlike any other sandwiches anywhere. I highly recommend eating here. You’ll be hooked!!

My husband tried a pambazo (a torta dipped in a non-spicy red sauce) it had chorizo, tiny chopped potatoes, lettuce, sour cream, and mayo. He said it was okay. I tried it, and I do think it was good but not as good as home. But if it’s your first time trying it, we would still recommend it

I had a torta alemana: it had melted cheese, ham, and steak, also known as milanesa, avocado, lettuce, sour cream, and mayo. I did like it a lot. The only thing was that the steak seemed to be missing a bit of salt. Other than that, I would recommend it. It is big!!

The food itself is 5 starts. It is authentic and flavorful. The pambazo was huge and could feed two people. The el pastor tacos we super flavorful however they were a little dry. The fresh waters were warm but still good.

You’ll see a lot of brightly colored clothing in here! In my opinion if you see a bunch of Caution Yellow/Orange…you are almost always going to enjoy the food!

The tortas are huge! I have heard from more than a few people about how great they are!
I’m glad I got to see one finally!

I got the chorizo with egg plate.
I don’t get that dish very often, I typically like some yolk spillage, but I am glad I tried that!

The place was near full when we showed up around noon…from the time we parked to when we got our food was 12 minutes. Nice!

It’s a small shop, clean, order at the counter they serve you, then you leave your plates on the table kinda place.

Highly recommended!

Thank you for lunch!

This place is right off of Franklin and can definitely be considered a hidden gem. We had the Torta Cubana which contained just about every single meat available here and a pambazo. Be aware these tortas are huge! You can easily split them among two people. This is definitely among the best comfort food in the area

I discovered this place from someone else’s Instagram post and immediately fell in love with it. They have a variety of Tortas and other Mexican food that you may not find in the typical Mexican restaurant like gorditas, barbacoa de borrego and huaraches. Definitely a must visit.

This Mexican restaurant transports me straight back to San José del Cabo, Mexico, with its authentic vibe, even though it’s located in a Sacramento strip mall. The cashier speaks only Spanish, adding to the immersive experience. The signage and decor feel true to my memories of Mexico, with Mexican novelas playing on the TV and refreshing, authentic horchata on the menu.
