Instead of eating the small selection of food at the Tamal fest, I decided instead to get food at the taqueria inside the store. My biggest complaint is that it took a long time for them to prepare my order. They did seem to make everything fresh, and there was a decent amount of people ahead of me but it wasn’t obvious until they started calling out orders. The food was very authentic to Mexican cuisine and I left feeling filled. The amount of food you get for the cost is also great. Would recommend you come on a not busy day.

I asked especially about carnitas tacos, which the online menu indicated would be sold at an attractive price. When I asked inside, I was quoted a significantly higher price; and thus chose to instead get hot food at Rally’s and another nearby taqueria.

One of the best chicken enchilada I’ve ever had AND they have goat and lamb on the menu which is always a huge plus. The prices were a bit more than expected, but the food was very very good.

Al pastor tacos are the best. 1 star because today when I visited with my husband we got scolded by the head of staff. Unprofessional & unacceptable behavior.
There’s limited seating for the restaurants in Saraga so people typically sit in Luis’ area. I ordered food from both Asian Snack & Don Luis’. We paid and left a tip. My husband asked for a fork and knife from the cashier. She gave him one. Then a man walked out to our table & scolded the cashier in front of us. In her defense we said we ordered food from Luis’. He
said we couldn’t have a fork and knife because it was used for the food from Asian Snack.
After that my food just didn’t taste as good.

This is the place I go to when I have cravings for carne asada. It is simply the best carne asada burrito I’ve had in Indy. It blows Chipotle Mexican Grill out of the water in terms of flavor and even beats Carneceria Guanajuato down the street. The meat is seasoned and cooked to perfection. The red hot sauce has a nice smoky flavor to it and a good kick. The owner is very nice and appreciates your business.
