Taco River is a hidden jewell. We heard about this spot from Instagram and decided to test our stomach and intuition based on some pictures.
We walked in, and it just looked regular. So we took a look at the menu and ordered a chicken burrito
Some carna asada fries, some tacos, and 2 drinks. At first, our thought was it was gonna be a long day. They had like starry Sprite and a dr pepper. They were both way too sweet, so we swapped our drinks out.
After around 12 minutes, the food was done. And it was time to eat. Skeptical, we decided to try the asada fries and, to my surprise tge crunch on the fries and the freshness of the .eat and ingredients was a definite win. As we killed the asada fries, we went in on the tacos of the same fiiiiire . Couldn’t believe it. In my head, I’m thinking ain’t no way. But yes, way.. It was jumping. No stomach trouble after, which was a blessing. And will defi it’ll go back hope it wasn’t a fluke

One of the worst takeout experiences I’ve ever had. Ordered food from here after seeing videos on their food. Unfortunately, I found plastic in my food. The fries were extremely soggy and the steak wasn’t high quality and filled with plastic. They made me drive all the way back and wait over 30 minutes for a partial refund on my order. They were unapologetic and told me “sorry this happens sometimes” referring to plastic being found in their food. Would recommend any other restaurant in this area over Taco River.

Ordered El Pastor tacos and my buddy ordered chili cheese fries and for the price that you end up paying for this food is spectacular! Tacos only costed $6 dollars and the fries costed $13. For the tacos to be at a decent price on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, they also tasted pretty decent as well. Overall a neat little restaurant with decent food for its price. Not the best I’ve had but not bad at all price wise.

The green chili fries are fire! The green chili is spicy with good flavor but has good heat to it. The carnitas and California burritos are our favorites! We love this place and it’s always fast

Everything we had was soooooo good. Nice servings, amazing tacos. Green chilli was awesome. Salsas were really good as well. Will definitely be going back. Highly recommend. Service was great also. Small area to eat inside but also had out door seating and a drive thru.

This place is very convenient and cheap for your “street taco cravings” passed by and seen they have $1.00 tacos, so we stopped to try some. The time to order was fast but to receive food they ask you to park and we waiting kind of long for (4) tacos, around 10 mins! Kind of ridiculous.. on good note the tacos actually surprised us because they’re not stingy with portions and the tacos were tasty with the salsas.

This is not taco bell, they cook your food to order, so you may have to wait for the delicious, inexpensive breakfast you are wanting. I just paid $7.39 or something for 2 good sized asada breakfast burritos.
I’m just going to say that I’ve always ordered in the drive through, and I always wait a little bit, but it’s worth it. Today, there were 2 cars ahead of me, so I waited about 5 minutes from ordering to being served, tops. I definitely got asada, not some mystery meat, as some reviews have suggested. My eggs were cooked perfectly, and the meat was tender and delicious. You will NOT be sorry if you eat breakfast here. I’ve also had tacos, and the quesabirria, which isn’t as spicy as some that I’ve had, but still pretty darned tasty.
We go at least once a week, sometimes more. Gracias por todo, Taco River 2.
