From the west coast and had been craving some good Thai food and this place hit the spot. I love me some curry and theirs was delicious. Friendly staff, very attentive and attentive. We will be back form some of the other items. And to sit on their lovely patio!

This was our first time at Thai Taste Matthews, Wednesday 2/25. I found out the chef here makes the fresh spring rolls in the morning itself. We asked for tofu in the fresh rolls and the server said, No. we don’t and we cannot add tofu to the spring roll. I was like, what?
They serve FREE soups (1/8th of a cup) and spring roll (1 piece) during lunch, probably a promotion to attract customers but both of them literally had no taste in it.
Soup was filled with sodium broth and Spring roll was filled with oil. I can literally smell the oil in the spring rolls. Seems like they have not replaced the oil for a while.
I ordered Kow Pad Sub Pra Ros, believe me, I have been to 250+ Thai Food restuarants across the country and as this one says, serving since 1980s, literally smelled like burnt oil. Not sure what quality of oil they use.
The fried tofu, full of oil, the sauce, 3 table spoon serving.
Very unhappy with the service, we complain the server with the issues, she was like, I don’t know they prepare it inside the kitchen and all spring roll comes the same. If you don’t want it, don’t eat it, that’s fine.
Not recommending this place.

We had an amazing first visit. The staff is very welcoming and attentive. The lunch menu was reasonably priced and a great portion size. We had the pineapple curry chicken & pork pad Thai. Both dishes were great. We will be back!

Fantastic meal with excellent service. We had beef stir fry & green curry chicken. Flavors were irresistible! We also had chicken skewers & peanut sauce for appetizers, but no picture as evidence since we ate it so quickly! Would definitely recommend!

Had a lunch with a girl friend here, exceptional! I also appreciate iced tea being included with the meals. The tea is very good. Chicken pad Thai I recommend a 2 on the heat scale if you want a little kick of flavor but not too spicy. Parking can seem iffy but there’s quite a few options, actually.

Came here for lunch on a busy Saturday, and got some of the best service i’ve received at any restaurant ever! We ordered Thai Tea which was the best i’ve ever had. We then ordered our food, three dishes, which were at our table literally 3 minutes after ordering, I couldn’t believe how fast they were! It was super delicious. The owner is the nicest lady ever, and she was very sweet and kind and made us feel right at home! I will definitely be coming back this was fantastic. Not to mention the portion sizes are perfect, and left me very satisfied, but not overly full. Highly recommend!

It was lunchtime and we were starving, so we decided to give this place a try for some Thai food. What a big mistake.
The food was absolutely horrible. We have tried Thai food many times and have never been disappointed — until now. This is by far the worst place we have ever been, and we will definitely never come back.
The customer service was also very bad. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

This Thai restaurant in downtown Matthews stands out with its unique and authentic menu options, far surpassing other Thai places. I’m just convinced Matthews food scene sucks because if fried rice from a Thai restaurant isn’t good and comes in the smallest serving I’ve ever seen (for $15) they can keep it. Second worst fried rice I’ve ever had in my life just a hair above bland. Veggies are fresh though I’ll give them that. Won’t be back.
