The food was absolutely scrumptious with the right amount of flavor and spice. The restaurant was packed and there was quite a bit of a wait time to be seated but the atmosphere and various people that I met was very entertaining. The wait time plus the packed place just means that the meals are well worth the wait.

Went yesterday for the first time. Don’t know if I’ll be back. The fish were all floating up to the top, some were on the edge. But by the time my buddy and I left. More were floating to the top and going sideways. Please fix what ever is going on. By the time we re walked around the pond I counted over 15 dead fish that wasn’t including the cats that were sideways floating, amazing atmosphere just was thrown off by that.

I’ve been at Grab-A-Hook a couple of times in my life and knew it would be the perfect restaurant to show my husband— and he agrees that it’s his new favorite! Tonight was the first time I had been in about a year and it was just fabulous. I got the mule burger and it’s my new favorite, he got the catfish.
We have so much fun at Grab! We played pool with my parents and after we ate we sat outside and watched the sunset go over the lake. Beautiful atmosphere and delicious food.
The only reason why I gave service 4 stars is because there were a couple of times where we needed a refill and our waitress didn’t check on us, but she was so sweet and it was her second day on the job so I won’t complain too much about that!
We will definitely be back to eat and most importantly… FISH!!!!! I highly recommend Grab-A-Hook and you won’t regret it. Get the mule burger!

The place is beautiful. There is a bacteria in the pond eating the skin on the fish and killing them. I don’t know if they are aware of this or not. We went for the overnight fishing. We did not eat there because the kitchen was closed when we got there. Do read all the signs inside, they’re cute!

Don’t go here unless your okay with a fishing pond and catfish tournament going on in the front yard. Go here if you love granny’s cooking, all you can eat buffet, eating off paper plates, a “gift shop” with fishing lures and rods, and all the neighbors over for dinner. We live in the next county and try to get over a least once a month. Great pie. Oh,band yes, you can order off a menu, I recommend the cat fish basket, get a lunch meat sandwich, and but sliced lunch meat to take home that’s much cheaper than that stuff at Kroger’s.

Went there 5-21-23. I was really looking forward to eating there. I’d heard good things.
I took my teenage grandson and two of his friends there to eat and fish.
We ordered off the menu because the buffet didn’t have anything we were interested in. I got the 1/4 deluxe burger and fries. It was ok, needed some seasoning. The boys ordered the southwest burger. It’s supposed to come with bacon, southwest sauce, cheese, and some cooked onions. None of their burgers had the bacon. When we told the waitress she had a bad attitude and seemed really inconvenienced. She brought back one piece of bacon. We asked for more bacon and she practically rolled her eyes as she walked off. She had a different waitress bring the rest of the bacon to us. I mean if you don’t want to get things for people don’t be a waitress. Work somewhere else.
Other than that our time there was good. The cashier was nice and friendly. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean. The boys had a great time fishing. We were there about 4-5 hours.

This stop will not disappoint. The mule burger is absolutely delicious. Great place to bring the family, you can fish, shoot pool, there’s even a digital jukebox.
