Small town Cafe with a homey atmosphere. Great food with generous portions. Kind staff, Fresh coffee, and the funniest mugs you have ever seen. Stopped in a few times while visiting the area. Always left satisfied. A must visit location.

This is a great little diner. I loved the hometown feel. We had great friendly service. We had a mixture of burgers and breakfast. The portions were huge, the food was hot and tasted like home. Great fries and onion rings! The prices are great too. I highly recommend the Pelican Cafe!!

This place used to be decently priced. Now, it’s just a ripoff. $18 for a Denver omelet and hash browns w/ drink? Seriously? I can buy an absolutely heaping platter of food from Chen’s down the street for $13.50.

Don’t get me wrong, the service and food is great. The price? Not so much considering it’s probably Sysco or FSA supplied.

I used to come here a lot. Sadly, I probably won’t return.

This was a quick decision that paid out big time. The atmosphere is fantastic. The food was great, very decent portion. I had the Bubba burger and it was way more than I needed.

Stop in the first time ever today to give them a try. The place is very cute and rustic but the atmosphere has nothing to give. The waitress I had was very standoffish from the start. Yes they were busy while i was there but that isn’t a good reason to not pay attention to your tables fully.
They let the orders just build in the window so plates are pilled on top of plates and as far as i can tell theres no heat lamp either to keep the food warm while it sits there.
I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak with 2 Over Medium Eggs on a separate plate, Load Extra Crispy Hashbrowns, and a biscuit instead of toast.
After waiting probably 45 or so minutes i finally received my food. The Chicken Fried Steak as no flavor but is a very decent size, my eggs come on the same plate as my hashbrowns even though I asked for them on a separate plate, my extra crispy loaded hashbrowns weren’t crispy in the slightest, lastly the biscuit was delicious and was the best thing.
Everything was homemade which was very appealing but the experience wasn’t the best first impression.
