After checking into our hotel, we found Gyu-Kaku within walking distance of it, and I am glad we made the right choice for dinner. It is a popular spot and I highly recommend that you make a reservation online. Staff were extremely friendly and courteous. My husband and I shared the combo/course dinner and it was so much food with great value. We enjoyed having different proteins and we definitely will come back here next time we are in the area.
If you are looking for a casual vibe and great valued protein options, give this a try!

Love this place. Our servers Ryan and Abbey were amazing and took such good care of us. Came on for the $32.50 ayce lunch special and they have happy hour toll 6pm all day. So much fun and love coming here. Will be back again soon. Always a good choice.

It was a great experience! Although we didn’t make a reservation (we should have), we had to wait for a table for 2 for about 30 minutes. Luckily they do have tiny bar where we can sit and wait because there’s a chance someone cancelling their reservations. We got seated and Timmy was our waiter and he was awesome! He was attentive and friendly. He helped gave us suggestions on how to cook certain things, he made sure we were taken care of. All the meat that came out were amazing! The garlic fried rice was phenomenal that we had to order 2 times! All in all, wonderful experience. They have parking space available although limited, unsure if it’s comped or not because we walked.

Absolutely amazing experience.
This wagyu spot in Beverly Hills completely exceeded my expectations.
The beef is insanely tender — it melts the second it hits your tongue.
If I could change one thing, I honestly wish the course started with the beef first. It’s so good that I wanted to dive into the meat before anything else.
That said, the sides in the course — the rice, soup, and small dishes — are really delicious and definitely worth having.
Everything is seasoned perfectly and nothing feels heavy or overly salty.
The staff was super friendly, and the whole vibe of the place just felt right.
If you’re in Beverly Hills and want a memorable meal, this place is an easy must-visit.

The lunch deal is really good, especially for the number of options you get. Food is pretty good as well. Loved the toro beef.

The harami, garlic noodles, kimchi and dumplings were a standout! The toro has great unique flavor, deeply savory and a little sweet, but quite chewy when cooked. The grills were sticky upon first use which made cooking more difficult. Staff was kind and helpful. Would recommend!

Everything is so good! And such a friendly group of people from Jonathan the General Manager to Gio our server.
There is so much to choose for, but luckily we had a guided tour from our friend, and let me tell you, everything we had was so good!
First of all, you can’t skip the garlic noodle and the Bibimbap. They’re must haves!
For the meat entries, we had kalbi short rib harami skirt steak, bistro hanger steak, umakara yaki beef, and yaki-shabu beef. It almost doesn’t matter which piece we ate, but EVERYTHING tasted so good! And don’t skimp on the ponzu and sweet soy sauce , either!
This is a restaurant that you want to skip lunch for so you can come in with a healthy appetite.
Even the Nigori Sakewas delicious.
Lastly, the mochi is such a satisfying treat as a palate cleanser. We left completely satisfied all around. Thanks Gio, Jonathan, and the rest of Gyu-Kaku!

Food is always good at any Guy-kaku, I did feel like the meat was more flavorful here and I really enjoyed all the food that was served. The lighting threw me off though as I had track lighting in my eyes and had to switch sides with my husband as they were unable to dim the lights. And service was decent but not amazing. But overall I would come again as the food is excellent.

The location vibe was cozy, intimate, wood and the grills were hot. Jake was our server and he was on point and funny. The kitchen was a little slow but it was Friday night so I understand. We had a reservation for 6, which was a good idea, but if you have fewer people I think you could walk in and get a table. This shop has three different all you can eat options and a regular menu as well. The food was good, but I think I am a Korean bbq fan more than Japanese. My first time having Japanese style bbq. Less sides and more meats, tofu and desserts than Korean bbq. Great time with a group of people non the less!
