Comfortable and cozy Puertorican restaurant in Dundee, Fl.
Incredible food on Hwy 27, specially coming ffom Legoland to I-4. EL Yunque Mofongo. Mofongo with Mamposteao Rice ( Smash Yellow Rice,Red Beans and Ham) adds a unique and tasty flavor. Had mine with Churrasco and Shrimp.
Art design are unique. May need to upgrade the furniture but its good.
Overall, I do recommend eating here.

I had an amazing experience with the family. From the moment you walked in you felt welcome. Great service, Camila was my server, flavor was on point, is like going to PR and come back, by the time you order and receive the food was considerably quicker than most of this places. Parking lot was great, for 4 people considering plates and portions they serve, are a bit too small for a family of 4. But other than that, worth every penny you spend there. I will definitely coming back….

After moving from Miami, it has been hard to find good Authentic Puerto Rican food or latin food in general here in Central Florida. La Garita had just become a personal favorite. The atmosphere is inviting and warm. The artwork on the wall is amazing and captures the culture. The service is amazing greeted by friendly and beautiful smiles. The food, delicioso! Brought back all the things I missed from Miami. Everything made in house too. To everyone involved with La Garita, I thank and appreciate you all. Highly highly recommend!

This Puerto Rican restaurant is such a gem! The place feels very clean and welcoming, with a nice environment that makes you feel right at home. Nany was AMAZING EXCELLENT SERVICE she even cool down some glasses for us for the beers. The food is great also the price was good. Only thing they meed cold mugs for the beer that’s just me being needy EXCELLENT will definitely recommend it.

First time here and I ordered the Carrasco con Mofongo and it was so delicious cooked to perfection! My kids enjoyed the food as well. Definitely coming back to try the stuffed chicken with guava sauce!! Customer service was great very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Just amazing food and amazing service! Great ambiance and music. Our server Nany was very helpful and friendly! We ordered the mofongo plate “El Yunque”…a delicious tower made with mofongo and arroz mamposteao (rice and beans) topped with skirt steak (churrasco) and shrimps and a scrumptious garlic sauce!!!! Absolutely delicious and solid good portion to enjoy!!! We also ordered jugo de tamarindo (tamarind juice) and queso frito as an appetizer. recommended!
