I decided to get there $2 dollar taco Tuesday. I ordered one shredded beef and one carnitas. I wanted cheese, however they were going to charge an additional $1 per taco. I declined. The taste was outstanding, even though it was a little dried out. The rating is based on my experience with the $2 deal only. This is a great deal considering the regular price is $6.50 per taco. There is no way I would pay $6.50 for a typical street taco. Overall I’d give them 4*.

El Forastero knocked it out of the park! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a spotless, inviting space and genuinely friendly staff who made us feel right at home. The service was warm, attentive, and engaging—exactly the kind of atmosphere you want when enjoying great food.
We sampled all of their salsas and were blown away by the variety and balance of flavors. Each one brought something special to the table, with a nice range of heat levels that complemented rather than overpowered the food. Usually I didn’t like at least one of the sauces at places like this – not this time!
I ordered two street tacos—one adobada and one shredded beef—and both were absolutely packed with incredibly tender, flavorful meat. The toppings were just right: fresh onions and cilantro that enhanced the tacos without overwhelming them. It’s clear they don’t skimp on quality or portion sizes.
The side of refried beans was unexpectedly fantastic—creamy, fresh, and full of flavor without being over-blended. A simple dish done exceptionally well.
This place gets everything right: food, service, cleanliness, and overall vibe. We’re definitely coming back. El Forastero is a standout in the crowded casual Mexican food space

I’ve came here pretty consistently here and there only around 2-5 am as this place is 24 hours open I’ve never came here during the normal hours. I like the food here. I usually get a super burrito with carnitas with a side of chips and green salsa. This place is definitely my go to whenever I want something when it’s very late which not many places are anymore especially a Mexican place. This place is pretty consistent with their portions. The burrito is a good big size burrito that can last 2 times to eat half and half which I like. I’m satisfied with the consistent quality of the food as it’s not cold nor are the chips stale or anything. They are pretty good for being late at night when I get my food here. I recommend this place for anybody who wants a good meal late at night.

There are some hit of miss on their menu, and it’s fine by me. Took the kids here several times and wasn’t a fan of the nachos HOWEVER I tried their birria tacos with cheese and I can’t get enough of it! ❤️ I’ve had it several times since then and loved it each time! Husband wasn’t a fan of their soups but loves their carne asada burrito! I will take pics of the birria next time I get it, it doesn’t survive long enough for a photoshoot.

Looking for tasty Mexican food at 3:00 a.m. in the morning not always an easy task. Growing up around the border of Mexico I have most often had the pleasure of eating really good authentic Mexican food. I ordered the machaca burrito and it was delicious. The food was cooked to order and was piping hot. Next time I will know to either order the plate instead of the burrito or not where my good shirt while trying to eat the burrito. It was definitely juicy and tasty

The atmosphere is so fun and comfortable, & the workers are good people.
Quality mexican food that’s not whitewashed, definitely influenced by someone’s Mexican grandma.
The restroom is clean & comfortable aswell.

Specifically asked if they have “Grilled chicken” they answered “yes”, so then ordered 2 crunchy grilled chicken tacos. Got home, and it was shredded chicken. Barely anytime in my taco also. Highly disappointed for my first time here.

Met at the counter by a very nice person. I asked if they have tamales and they said no. I ordered fish tacos and my wife ordered tacos with hamburger meat. My fish tacos were a little too massive as the fish was cooked and cut way too big. Served with a huge pile of rice and beans. I ate only half of the r and beans. My wife’s tacos became mushy from the meat and were soggy. She also was served an over abundance of rice and beans. We plan to never go back.

Purchased a burrito from this location and they used a microwave to heat it up. My issue is they left it in way to long and now I have burns on my mouth from the scolding temperature, this was 10 minutes after the purchase. I tried calling to make them aware of the issue, but person answering the phone couldn’t understand english.
